OT : Brighton make the play-offs

Nothing particularly exciting to the majority of you chaps - but my team (Brighton and Hove Albion FC) won today and confirmed their place in the Division 2 play-offs ....

Roll on the play-off semi finals and eventually (hopefully) the final itself .....

(Still trying to persuade my wife that if we make the final she'll have to come along with me and support Brighton .... she's a Man City fan)

Lincoln City essentially locked up a playoff spot today even though they got spanked. I think it is about +7 on GD, so some big scores would be need for them to not get in. Damn coach is suspended for one more game though...

Good luck Marc- Im a bit saddened at Man City's win today, which means those twats are likely to avoid relegation over Leeds...

FANTASTIC!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

City - Manchester City
we are the lads who are playing to win,
City - the boys in blue will never give in,

Football is the thing that we all live for,
saturday's the day we play the game,
everybody has to pull togethor,
and togethor we remain,
even if we're playing down at Maine Road,
or if we play a million miles away,
they'll always be are loyal fans behind us,
to cheer us on our way

City - Manchester City
we are the lads who are playing to win,
City - the boys in blue will never give in,

blue is forever the best team in the land,
playing togethor, togethor we will stand,

City - Manchester City
we are the lads who are playing to win,
City - the boys in blue will never give in,

Blue and white they go togethor,
we will carry on forever more,
maybe in another generation,
when other lads have come to take our place,
they'll carry on the glory of the city,
too keep City in there place

City - Manchester City
we are the lads who are playing to win,
City - the boys in blue will never give in

In many of my CM careers, Brighton has made their way up to the Premiership. Here's to them regaining some of their past glories!

Good to hear that your wifey is still a City fan. We suffer, more than we should, but at least we stick by our club.

Good news for Brighton. I lived there for a few years in the early 90's and was along at the Brighton and Hove Albion playoff final at Wembley at the end of the 1990-91 season. Unfortunately they got severely humped that day by Notts Co and that was the beginning of the slide down the divisions, I guess. I also had the "pleasure" of going to the home and away legs against Millwall.

So good luck to the Seagulls this time. Time for a quick round of "Good old Sussex by the sea".

Dola..Sad to see Leeds in their relegation troubles, especially with Man City looking like they'll stay up. Nothing against City, must be hard being a City fan with the ManUre lovefest going on, but I want anything that Kevin Keegan is involved in to fail totally. I've hated his since he was a curly haired twat over-rated Liverpool ass.

Ive never understood the hype about him as a manager- he's spent 60 million to ensure Man City are in 17th ? THe Strike Force of Wanchope, Macken, Fowler, Anelka, Vuoso, and co has cost 30 million pounds- and then lets get into the wonderful midfielders. Don't get me wrong- I love watching a kEegan team play, because they actually play football- but his management has been awful.
