Seems like he's back full time with ESPN... I can live happy now.
link
Two weeks ago, I left Jimmy's show, and I'm signing a new contract with ESPN. When it came right down to it, I missed writing my column and wanted the chance to pursue some additional opportunities with ESPN (none of which I'm allowed to mention yet -- although sadly, the launching of ESPN6 isn't one of them). Between working 60 hours a week for a TV show and trying to keep my column alive, there just wasn't enough time in the week. And I felt like my writing was starting to slip -- I just didn't have enough time to work on columns or even think about them (which is three-fourths of the writing process). So something had to give.

Hell, based on Wednesday's events, Jimmy himself might not survive very much longer.

I didn't see it, but apparently he had some sort of allergic reaction and was swelling up through the whole show. He was rushed to the hospital right after the taping (and is presumably fine now).

Interesting that they took down the mail piece that let Simmons get a dig in at Stuart Scott.

It's funny because it's so frickin' true.... are they doing these tattoos at the mall now or something?

I just remarked the other day how those tatoos are the absolute worst. It's like the mark of the skank or something.

Not necessarily a bad thing... it's nice to be able to readily identify the easy ones...

If I remember right, there was a question asking what the general cut-off age was for guys to stop listening to alternative music, dress hip, and date college girls (the guy suggested 31). In his answer Simmons implied that Monsieur Stu was older than that but still doing all of the above. Really it was pretty benign, touchy editors over at Page 2.
