Get To Know The Fury

Mike Lupica - the beat writer who follows my team over in the IHOF website - unveiled a new promotional poster featuring William "Chunder" Wood, the running back for the Fort Worth FUry (I was the catalyst for his nickname). You can read the blurb about the unveiling as well as look at the poster here .

Chunder-mania is sweeping the nation.

I thought we were going back to the days of "I'm going to unleash the F*cking Fury".. dunno whether to be relieved or disappointed.

Enough of this negativity. In more important positive news, the Fury removed the Jackie Sherrill jinx and finally defeated arch-rival San Antonio, knocking the Volunteers out of the playoffs on the last week of the regular season.

The Fury finished the season 8-8 and out of the Deep South basement.

Yeah, I saw.

At least you've improved from your first season. I see playoffs for you next season.
