There we go. 1st and goal, and no timeouts.

Wow, how is this team going to look without Greene, Pollack, and Gibson?

Yes. I refused to watch them play after the Mich St game. I guess it's safe for me to go back out to the great room now.

What's with the new graphics on the LSU-Iowa game? Geeze, they change them like every couple of seasons, and it gets really annoying.

LSU vs. Iowa coming in nice and clear here, and LSU is trying to steal this game here at the end....

Is David Greene the most overrated QB? I don't think I've ever watched him win a game for Georgia, but it always seems like he tries to give it away.

How 'bout them Hawkeyes. Lot's of questionable things done by both teams in this one.
Going for two in the first half, spiking the ball and killing the clock when LSU should have let it run, and Iowa not taking the first of their last two timeouts at the end. But I'll be damned if Tate didn't pull it out. |

Why are Fouts and Jackson in a bubble? Is Travolta there too?

Iowa v. LSU = Insta classic. Is it just me or does the picture quality look like FOX is covering the game.

He has won us many games, and some big games to boot. He is not consistent, though. He doesn't make desicions fast enough. But considering he is the winningest QB in college football history, I would say he is not over-rated. |

It was a great game, possibly the best finish of the year. I was watching, thinking "These morons are throwing away any chance they have of winning this game" They held onto their two timeouts like they could use them after the game. When the clock is running and there are 24 seconds left in the game, you take one of your two TOs rather than line up and spike the ball to lose a down, and half or more of clock. Am I the only one who thinks that teams at both the college and pro level go to the "spike" too often? I'd say at least three out of four times I see it used, I think the team would be better served running a play. Last edited by Glengoyne : 01-01-2005 at 06:12 PM. |

 I don't know if this was meant to be a bad or good comment . Usually, Fox is much clearer and vivid than the other stations, especially for sports.
