Kick ass!!! I'm going down to Algona to check out the giant cheeto!!!
Sometimes I'm embarrased to live in the state of Iowa, this is one of those times. |

HAHAHA It almost sounds like the punchline to "You might be a redneck if...." (you try to sell oversized potato chips on EBAY) |

The sad thing is, that probably DOES qualify as a major attraction in Iowa.

dola,
most towns in Iowa are like that. There are probably three cities in the whole state that aren't completely redneck, Des Moines, Ceder Rapids, and the town I live in, Iowa City. I love Iowa City, there is no place I would rather live, that may sound crazy, but if you lived here you would agree. I hate being in Iowa, but I love being in Iowa City. The positives far outway the negatives. This is an overhead view of the Old Capital building in Iowa City Last edited by tucker342 : 03-07-2003 at 12:29 AM. |

Now, see I live in Iowa and love it. As long as I'm relatively close to Des Moines. Oh, and tucker, you forgot to add Ames to the list. Great town (though ISU SUCKS!). Ahem. Sorry. Grew up in eastern Iowa. Hawkeye fan.
But I used to live 10 miles from Algona, and I've eaten at Sister Sarah's Bar. In that part of the state...yeah, big Cheeto is a pretty big deal. For more on Iowa, check out the Des Moines Dragons dynasty! You never knew life in Iowa could be so bizarre! (Okay, like the Cheeto thing wasn't bizarre. But the Dragons dynasty needs some more readers. So check it out.)
