EA Sports NHL 2005

I just got this game today and it doesn't seem to be working. It doesn't seem like there is anything on the disk. What could the problem be?

Try simming through to the 2005-2006 season. That should solve your problem.

I've heard that if you got an EU version of the game, it works just fine...

EA was unable to buy out all the NHL/Players Assoc. licenses this year due to the lockout. Once the lockout ends and EA monopolizes yet another sport, your disk should be fine.

-Can you make a deal with the greed players after the NHL end-of-the-season?
-Will you be able of making a contraction avoiding a Federal Demand?
-Negociate with anothers owners.
-Insult the representants of the players while the press bash you all
