Hattrick: I've been sucked in
So I took the plunge. Here are some questions.
How do I get in with the other FOFC teams? Should I be trying for a new coach or is this guy OK for starters? Richard Tubbs (8812116) 46 years, weak form, healthy A passable coach who prefers a strong defensive game A sympathetic guy who is temperamental and upright. Has outstanding experience and wretched leadership abilities. Nationality: USA Assessed value: 0 US$ Wage: 500 US$/week Owner: Los Alamitos Fury Warnings: 0 Stamina: disastrous Goaltending: disastrous Playmaking: disastrous Passing: wretched Winger: wretched Defending: disastrous Scoring: disastrous Set Pieces: poor I won my first game 4-0. Any advice is appreciated. |

Definatly keep him. Not worth spending the money you may have to spend to get a solid coach, and it's not THAT bigga difference.

Wow, you got a passable coach right out of the box?
(enraged with jealousy) You can't join a league with the other FOFC teams, but you can play friendlies, talk smack, and participate in the FOFC Cup (assuming it's on for the next season). Check over on the dynasty board. There's a thread over there posted by dacman (official FOFC hattrick listing) that lists everyone's team and team # (for challenging others). Just post your team info and they'll update. edited to include post name Last edited by moriarty : 03-17-2003 at 02:14 PM. |

Thats kind of why I asked. I've read enough of the hattrick threads that when I saw the coach, I figured he's not that bad for starters. |

If you have spare cash you might want to can him but not until you have *everything* and I mean everything else sorted out and you have lots of cash left over. The level of coach is most important. Still, his other three attributes leave something to be desired: defensive, wretched leadership (very low), and, well, sympathetic is pretty good.
