I'm a bit surprised you didn't bet that river there (A10 vs 88 hand). Could you post what read you had on him? I'm curious as to your thought process there. Maybe you just wanted to see what he called you with? Or were you worried about the five?

i was worried he got in with A5 and I didn't wanna make a descion for a big pot if he came back over the top. I knew I had it when he checked the river but I didn't wanna put half my stack at risk with a beatable hand.

I'm 2nd with 17 left in a tourney on JetSet. I finished 2nd in this same tournament yesterday morning...hopefully this time, I can pull it off.

Dammit. Went totally card dead, and got sucked out of a big pot. So, I finished 12th when I tried to steal the blinds against a small stack and a similar (slightly larger stack) with K-10...got called by A7. I flopped a king, but he turned an ace and bounced me.

Ah well. I've made four final tables and seven Top 20 finishes (nine top 30) in the last 10 days. Can't be too displeased with that.

I didn't get to watch you, Lathum, but congratulations on another great showing. I really need to get back into tournament play. I've been slumming at the $1/$2 limit tables for the past couple of days, barely breaking even. I'll see about getting into that $10 Thursday night tournament that cartman is so fond of.
