Heh, this is weird. :/ (PC control panel related)
I am trying to go into my eLicense Control in the control panel but when I click on it - it won't open. Double clikcing or not it still won't open. So, if I wanted to unlicense any of my games, I can't. What would cause this?

Try running c:\windows\lcmmfu.cpl or for Windows 2000 c:\winnt\lcmmfu.cpl

That file doesn't even exist on my desktop (I checked, because I was trying to unlicense FOF so I could wipe the HD and install Windows XP in place of Windows 98). I can't unlicense at all, so that puts me in an interesting position if I end up going the formatting route.

Heh, no clue on that one. That lcmmfu.cpl file is the actual file that gets run when you double click on eLicense on the control panel (when things are working).
Don't know what you're looking at now. You try a good old reboot? |

Sack, it may be in a different location in Windows 98, maybe even a different name. I can't remember how Win98 handles the control panel.

Check your sevices and see if LicCtrl is running as a service. If it's not, start it and then give it a try.

I had a similar problem, ended up being the firewall.
