Frustrating Problem
I wanted to Google something, so I typed www.google.com in the address bar, and I was taken to a Yahoo search page! I figured I must have mistyped something and tried it repeatedly with the same results. Even when I click on the google.com item the page brought up, it would say the site was unavailable.
What the hell is going on here?! If I want to google something, I want to google something, not ask Yahoo for permission. This pisses me off. Am I doing something wrong? Is there something that has happened to my setup that makes this happen? If so, how can I correct this? If this is something intrusive by Yahoo I will be very disappointed. Thanks to anyone who can shed some light on this. |

Google.com was also down for about half an hour just now as well. DNS issues it would seem.

OK, sorry to be a Chicken Little. Looks like it may have had to do with Google being down. Can't find the requested address, goes to a search engine. Makes sense. I just did a google and was fine.
Thanks for the info guys. |
