OOTP Real Player File?
I may be blind, but I can't find it linked anywhere here, or on the ootp boards... can someone point me to the real player file? Unless it's not compatible with the evaluation, then nevermind.

Somewhere there is a nice pack of the Rosters/logos/Player pics, that installs automatically for you.

Ok, so I started a game on the demo.. and it's overwhelming. Like when I first started FOF. The only sim baseball game I've played is the Mogul series.
I'd set my lineup, and sim a couple week... make changes based on injuries, then sim a longer period of time. Then make deadline deals if necessary, then go to the playoffs. I'd check finances once in awhile to see if I was losing or making money. If I was losing money, chances were I was over my "cap." If I was making a lot of money, chances were I could increase my spending the next year. The offseason would involve checking which new minor leaguers I got, filling holes, resigning players, and continuing to play. I'm wondering if you can do something like this with OOTP? Any similarities here? Or is it a lot more involving, and takes more time? I'm itching to join a sim league for FOF or baseball or whatever... quit World of Warcraft for awhile, and want to get back into this stuff. Is there an OOTP 7 coming out soon? I saw a thread dated to 2004 that talked about it... now that you know my life story, I hope I get some answers. |
