Google Knows All

Go to google, and type in your phone number, including area code, like this:

999-999-9999 (with the dashes)

So?

I get a "did not match any documents" page.

Or is that because I have an unlisted, unpublished phone number?

Could be Drake. Everybody I typed in came up with their name, and address.

It doesn't like my cell phone number (I don't have a land line)...

I saw this on Snopes.com the other day, and sure enough, it worked for my parents number...

It should only work if your phone company publishes an online phone book, so it depends on where you live.

I don't really see what the big deal is. It's no different than having your name in the phone book, except its not limited by region.

Well, actually, it is the opposite of the phone book. You dont look up names by phone number in the book.........
