Exclamation TCU V. Utah Game

Looks like it'll be a good game. Game coverage and game speed seems to be a little sluggish though.

Yeah, I am watching it here...I am hoping to see the conference championship to be a 3 way battle between TCU, Utah, and BYU.

Pretty decent game so far! Alot of balanced play from both sides of the ball by both teams. That kid (HB TCU) looks pretty good.

That was a nicely designed play.

[edit]Albeit it was an illegal block.

I hate it every time a team gets away with an illegal pic play like that. It just leads to more plays like that. The defense can't do anything about it and the refs need to spot it and call it.

Well...I look at it this way...the refs this game sucked...I am not a Utah fan by no means...this leaves me happy, but scares the hell out of me.

BYU plays TCU next week, and honestly, I am concerned about our defense able to stop the run. Our D is almost identical to the way Utah plays theirs.

It's going to be interesting....

I didn't watch much of the game but I did see the end. I don't know why but when a coach draws up an illegal play that bothers me more than when a player goes out and does something illegal on the field. Especially in college teaching the kids to cheat and winning illegally really bothers me. I know it's a thin line but that's where it really bothers me.

I think the MWC is up for grabs this year... though I'd probably say TCU is going to win it, followed by Wyoming in second.

I actually went to the game tonight and the Utah coaching staff was all over the refs as they scurried off the field after that play. It's kind of weird how that play is always considered cheating but yet never gets called.

Brian Johnson, the Utah QB really lost his poise in the 2nd half and just lost all confidence in his ability to pass. TCU really earned the win tonight.

As the announcers said, the refs also DESTROYED Utah by making them use a timeout on a play that clearly ended out of bounds, and also stopping the clock WAY late on the other timeout that they called.

Yeah, I have no idea what happened on that play. It certainly looked like the refs made a huge mistake.

It was actually a heck of a job by Utah to have their heads up and even take the timeout there. Instead of bitching about the call they got the timeout in ASAP, which at least gave them a chance to drive down the fielder further.

And by calling that TO immediately, it gave them the chance to bitch at the refs for the entire TO.
