I liked this trade for the Raptors too. I always liked Mike James.

Van Gundy had a long talk with his little bro before trading for Alston and Alston has been nothing but pleasant in his short time in Houston so far. Supposedly T-Mac and James didn't get along very well, plus the Rox were looking for a PG who could push the ball. James didn't pass the ball at all, so Alston's 6.5asp looks pretty good for us right now... I liked James' instant offense off the bench as was sad to see him go, but I really have no problem with them bringing in Alston.
