The game is on ESPN2 right now if any of you care to watch.

dumb, dumb, dumb.

Rutgers stomped on Louisville's logo before the game.... this is going to be a 70-7 affair I think.

Nice special teams play followed by a sack on Louisville's first play... The D will need to be sharp all night if the Knights want to have a chance.

oh yeah, and great field position.

I'm still against Teel starting, BTW. He's really been awful this year.

Brian Leonard is a beast. I hope he ends up being drafted by the Jets.

I'll take the FG, but Rutgers can't be settling for that stuff.

I hope he goes to the Giants, but I would still buy his jersey if he was a Jet.

Any backstory on the Rutgers' players dancing on the Cardinal?

I was getting ready to be pissed at Louisville for not just kneeling for the second week in a row, but after I saw the dancing, I cannot say I blame them.

Sort of takes away from the whole 'ranked 4th nationally in academics' angle.

UC did the same thing a couple of years ago and got their ass whipped too.

Well it was an awfully stupid thing to do.

Rutgers fans can go on pretending they have turned some sort of corner - they haven't. They haven't beaten anyone. They just finally happened to have a season where they didn't lose to Villanova or New Hampshire.

Schiano is a lousy coach, plain and simple.

They're doing the same thing UConn did last year. Nothing more, nothing less.

But to say that it calls into question the academic standing of the entire university? come on, no one can be dumb enough to believe that.

Who around here fits the mold of that Rutgers fan you've described? I personally have repeatedly said that Schiano can't coach. It's obvious he can recruit, but he cannot coach.

Look at my first post in this thread, I expected that exact outcome last night.

I think you're looking for something that isn't there. I think Rutgers may have made it to the "respectable" level and i'm fine with that for now. It's a step.

Well in my defense, it really was only a joke.

I should have been more clear that I was talking about Rutgers fans in general, not the good Rutgers fans on this board.

Not exactly. Granted UConn beat some pretty soft schedules on the way to their 21-7 record over 2+ years, but they did win easily on the road at Iowa St and Wake Forest, beat up the league's BCS rep last year and blew out Toledo in their bowl game. They also went 24-8 over a period of 32 games, Rutgers only has to go 18-4 over their next 22 to match that.

Rutgers got that win in East Hartford 3 weeks ago in spite of themselves. If Teel doesn't get hurt then Schiano is probably just dumb enough to leave him in the game and they lose.

Look at who UConn beat last year, and compare it to who Rutgers beat this year. Very similar.
