This is pretty awesome. I'm sitting on a Lufthansa flight 36,000 feet over the Atlantic, and I'm able to surf the web on my laptop. Now I need to play some PokerStars to recoup the cost of the connection...

It's a normal WiFi connection. The price was $30, unlimited use, for the whole flight.

There doesn't seem to be the lag I was expecting. It goes from the plane to a satellite, and down to Earth and back.

I'm on my way back home, so DFW. I left Johannesburg Saturday night at 8:30pm, that flight landed at 5:00am in Frankfurt, and this one lands at 2pm in DFW. I'll be pretty much sleeping for the next two days straight...
