Not only was the charge lame, but so was your analogy to child porn for obvious reasons. |

Al Franken is actually NOT funny, at least not since he was on SNL.

im sorry the bit where he wore the satellite on his head and had to have it aimed a certain way to get the signal out, from Iraq was fuckin' halarious. When he interviewed some of the troops and would turn his head the signal went to snow....classic.
the One-Man Mobile Uplink Unit reporter anyone know where one could get a video of that?

I've never used illegal drugs of any sort. And I've never passed out or puked from drinking. SOOOOOO... Irvin is a jackass. Fire him. Fire him now. |

He has his moments, they just become rarer. The problem that Moore, Franken and Mahr all have is that they are incredibly funny people who let their hate of Bush cause them to become more meanspirited than funny. TV Nation was a great show back in the day. As was Politically Incorrect. Franken was great on SNL. Now they have about one laugh out loud moment a year between the bunch. Lest you think it's the material that I'm offended by, be aware that I don't listen to Rush, Savage, Coulter, O'Reilly or any of them. Were I to be offended at Republican jokes, I wouldn't be able to laugh at a single stand up comedian. Hell, I actually think Carville with his southern quips are better than the three combined when it comes to laughter. Jon Stewart puts all three of them to shame as well. |

They can't. I have never done any illegal drugs. I put Irvin, Rush, and anyone who smokes pot in exactly the same category. I don't understand at all how you can think that some ways to illegally ruin your mind are better than others. I do agree with you that the drug war is silly and pointless though.

I heard the Stuart Scott interview on the radio today. What a joke Irvin is, and what a story teller he is.

Carville is far and away the funniest guy you mentioned, imo. I occasionally listened to Franken's radio show when I lived in Wisconsin ... what struck me was that most days he didn't even TRY to be funny. |
