Nobody that matters will give two fucks who he diddles if he wins.

And nobody with a brain thought Quitsy was gonna be worth a damn.

I feel like Mac Jones is the QB Elway would take. Still hopeful for a Rodgers trade but we'd know by now.

Elway hoping for that D and mediocre QB magic again, I guess.

Jerry taking a risk there. Smith could haunt him for a decade.

I'm way higher on Justin Fields than Mac Jones. But this is the Bears, so let's see what they do.

LOL Bears

The one thing in their favor here is that I don't believe Fields is capable of learning an NFL offense and the Bears don't have one.

Ugh... I really liked Fields and with the right fit thought he could be amongst the best QB's this year. I just don't trust this not to be a scenario where the Bears suck this year, coaching staff gets fired, Fields has to deal with a new staff in his second year and it just sets any hope for his career back.

So I am behind and the Eagles just picked Smith.

So the cowboys missed out on the DB they wanted, so they trade out of the pick to a team in their division, who then takes a WR.

Fucking cowboys, lol.

Gettleman will fuck it up.

The thing is I don't think Smith is going to be a great WR, and the Giants signed Golloday so they don't need a WR. The Eagles taking him I think helps the Giants in the long run.

I saw Fields as the 2nd best qb in the draft and closer to Lawrence than Wilson so, based on that, I love the pick. However, this is the Bears and them doing what I feel is the right thing makes me feel this is the wrong thing.

Vera-Tucker. But did they think the Pats were taking him? Because obviously Minnesota wasn't wanting him if willing to move out. Why not call up the Cardinals at 16?

I would prefer a ton of future draft picks but Pitts seems to be as much of a sure thing as possible.

Who get doubled against the Falcons? Someone is getting burned with that receiving corp. And that corp is just what Ryan needs.

You have to trust Belicheck knows everything there is to know about Jones given his relationship with Saban.

Mac Jones is the 1st UK QB commit to be picked in the 1st round since Tim Couch.

Hey, you take what you can get...

Not sold on Jones. The WRs he was throwing to were selected ahead of him, and he is surrounded by all 5 star recruits

I think it more likely he busts and that cements the chicken of the egg comment with Brady and Belicheck.

As a Bears fan, I would love to rebut all of the hate for the trade and the pick....but I can't. I like the player, not a fan of the trade, and not sure this staff will be able to get the best out of Fields. Not sure how much Nagy had to do with Mahomes' first year, but I hope it was enough coach up Fields.
