Sheesh! Those PMs took way too long. Glad that's the one time I have to do that many.

Everyone should have received a PM about what sort of Congressman (or woman) they are.

As the republican nomination for president, I find myself also requesting that acting president Chubby veto this bill.

Congressman PackerFanatic, good luck to you! Oh, and go Bears!

BTW, Chubby, be very careful about what kinds of bills you think about submitting tomorrow - it is a presidential election year, and this side of the aisle would have to think long and hard about submitting something too liberal.

For my bill I am looking at something centrist and I'm sure both sides see the benefit for not submitting something too extreme.

After much debate I have decided to sign the National Wolf Discovery Act and VETO the National Wolf Security Act.

It's not what I feel is best for the people but it is what it seems the people want.

I think that we are giving the wolves a free shot tonight by not creating a bodyguard. I think that there are wolves amongst us that have strongly pushed for not only this bill to be vetoed, but were involved in the creation of the National Wolf Discovery Act and tried to make it too strong so as it would be shot down by the courts.

That is where I will be looking today for my vote, who was responsible for making the push to make the initial National Wolf Discovery Act so strong?

The debate in the media raged as acting President Chubby decided what he would do with the bills before him. The Wolf Discovery Act would certainly pass. Despite being Republican sponsored, it is a popular bill in the search for members of the Wolf Party.

But the Wolf Security Act would be trickier. Polls indicate strong support for a strong bill against Wolves, even among Republicans. But it includes a wolf clause. Is it worth the political capital to veto the bill, and cause tremendous issues in the inner circles of Democrat Party power?

Chubby decides to sign the Wolf Discovery Act. The halls of Justice gathered briefly to consider the new law before a short announcement that stated the Supreme Court would not hear cases on the constitutionality of the law.

Chubby also signed the Wolf Security Act...FOR VETO! The Democrat-sponsored bill has been shot down--by its own acting President!

Reaction around the country is swift, particularly in Democrat districts, where voters are angry that such a tool against the Wolf Party has been vetoed. They are angry with Chubby, and with the Democratic Party.

There are whispers that the decision may have a huge impact on both congressional races and the Presidential election in Year Two, as the momentum among voters decidely swings toward the Republican side...

DAY TWO HAS NOW BEGUN. POLLS TO BE ANNOUNCED SOON IN THEIR RESPECTIVE THREADS. PM TO NEW SEER GOING OUT SHORTLY.

DEADLINE FOR DAY TWO IS 9 P.M. EST (6 P.M. PDT).

ok, so looking at it, the wolves dont have the power to switch the veto...

so either CR messed up, or Chubby posted he was doing one thing then PMed to do the opposite.

Edited. It should look familiar. Sorry about that. Stupid early morning stuff...

Okay, going to adjust my spreadsheet since I put in a couple wrong values. Polls coming shortly.

Any error above was completely my own, and not Chubby's. Please don't look askance at Chubby for the mix up.

You're free to look askance at him about anything else, though.

Chubby, in the end I think you made the right decision. The game is setup so we can take away the wolves' advantages at the cost of a slower rate of villager roles.

I just hope this doesn't have the other negative effect for our party that I mentioned in our Democrat HQ.

Good to luck to you as well, Congressman illinifan. Despite the people's feelings toward myself and my party on this day, I will do my best to convince them that it was for the good of the people that the bill was vetoed and hopefully they don't make the whole party suffer for that.

And go Packers

All PMs and polling out. Quick heads up.

Votes today.

The WOLF Vote (regular wolf vote)
You can choose to overturn Chubby's veto.
You can submit new bills.

Don't forget more slurry/support are available, and if you need to exercise any abilities toward today's elections, send it to me by PM before tonight's deadline.

Good luck, everyone.

I hope our colleagues on the other side of the aisle respect the fact that our side really took one for the good of the country by urging Chubby to veto the bill.

I would also say that, at this point in the game, only the wolves benefit if we start knocking each other out of Congress for partisan reasons.

All I am saying is: give peace a chance!

I agree. We all need to be smart with our we write our bills for today and we need to make sure we get at least 2 solid roles. Our country needs protection and it is our job to come together and give it to them!

I echo that sentiment.

We also looked beyond partisan bickering when we encouraged you to try to re-write your bill yesterday. Again, for the good of the village. We could have let your measure get overturned by the courts (which likely would have really hurt the Repubs), but we did not.
