Me. too. But wow. Cousins came alive tonight. No more rust. He has finally gotten the timing down. The running game is still a problem, but the passing offense was firing on all cylinders. Incredible.

If the defender just hits throught the WR that's probably incomplete. Instead he tried to get around the body to knock it away and was too late.

Also, i thought Al Michaels was having a senior moment because I swear he called that dude Merrill Hodge when he came in to replace London. But I guess it's Khadarel Hodge.

Once again, another team (Bengals) play for a 50+ yard FG and are going to lose. I just don't understand. Didn't even attempt to get one 1st down after the TO in OT.

So many seasons as a Bengals/Reds fan where we don't get close to halfway through the season before everything is over. Playing for the draft and there's still 12 games to go.

It happened first, but Bills pre-emptively asked everyone to hold their beer. I've never seen a team backed up inside their own 5 with 30 seconds left in a tie game, and throw 3 straight incompletions - including one pass where your WR gets called for PI - and then punt out of your own end zone to a team with 3 TOs needing just a FG to win. Absolutely insane.

I'm sure the argument is that they would have forced the punt anyway by using their 3 TOs, but the only reason they got the FG is because they had a TO left. Otherwise, you're playing for OT.

Yeah, it’s probably a good thing that both Bills and Bengals coaches are somewhat well respected and established, because those were two of the most idiotic ways to lose a game I’ve ever seen, within 20 minutes or so of each other.

Wow thought the Cards game was over at the half given their recent history with the 49ers. And crazy 100 yard returns in 2 games too.

The Browns have to bench Watson, right? I still contend the team isn't that bad outside of him. Jameis isn't good but he'll at least throw the ball downfield and can't possibly be worse.

You're pretending that this is a franchise that makes good decisions.

25 years of history proves that this isn't that franchise.

If anything should put that conspiracy to rest it's that they didn't stop the weather before it hurt TV ratings.

Something I had not thought about until I saw him gallop at a top speed of 18.76 MPH. Can you have a Joe Flacco be at the very least competent last year and then have Jameis come in and also be competent this year and still bring Deshaun back next year as QB1? I feel like at some point you end up with a locker room mutiny. So if you decide to bench Watson, aren't you just saying you are going to cut him? I don't even think you could do the ol' go home and we will mail your checks and your things without some risk of a lawsuit.

They need Watson to get "hurt" again like last season, because I doubt Haslem wants to pay out a couple hundred million to not play him especially since the whole Watson thing was his idea. Stefanski will go from COTY to fired because it's cheaper.

Agree with you. I just don't know how much longer they can pretend he's going to turn back into the old Deshaun Watson. The guy just doesn't have it anymore and it's holding back a pretty good team.

I don't know the salary cap implications, but I think they have to cut ties as soon as possible. It's a Russell Wilson situation. Short term, there will be pain till you get out of the cap hole. But I feel like letting one guy drag down your entire franchise is even worse.

The comparisons with certain political movements and figures will be obvious but I think the similarities are there. Remember what the atmosphere was like when Watson first signed with the Browns? Remember the ovation he got just running out for practice? Remember those brutal press conferences? The people wearing Watson jerseys in the first season yelling at protesters? Not saying that any of that has anything to do with what is happening on the field but I think management, the owners and to a certain extent the fans have to believe Watson can turn back the clock because of that backing. If it were just the money, I truly believe they would be slightly more inclined to cut him. They wouldn't but the chances would increase slightly. But backing Watson became about something bigger than just getting a top ten OB for many people associated with the Browns. The investment went beyond the draft picks and the guaranteed money. I think it is going to take a lot more than just bad play on the field to get rid of him especially with the more recent allegations.

Tampa plays away this Sunday.

Then two home games scheduled.

I'm glad we live in a time where a team can run the ball straight in to the line 3x and settle for a 55 yard FG in overtime and feel really confident. Stupid Bengals.

Saints and Chiefs both pretty injured. I expect a slogfesty sort of game. Hope the Saints win. But I expect that the best QB in the league has enough in his bag to pull out a low scoring game.
