I agree, Pass. I'm thinking at this point that we may want to have everybody off the mission for the moment. If we get enough reveals and workers by the mission deadline we can switch a couple people back. It would suck to lose a camp just for the sake of a couple items, maybe.

Glad to see Path wasn't an organizer though.

I'm hesitant to stay back from the mission. If we send no one and have everyone working on camps there's gonna be wolves there anyways (whether they fake or not) - and if we outright lose the mission, who's to say the wolves don't automatically receive any items? I think I'm going to stay put for now.

Yes Autumn I am an organizer. this is why I have done both days activities. the first day's mission in organizing the rescue effort, my specialty was something that could have been in play. today my specialty is needed more in the winning of the camp.

Can I ask how specific your PM was in saying that you would be useful on the mission? It seemed like the general thinking yesterday was that searchers would be the one whose specialty would be useful for the mission -- of course, we didn't know that organizing existed.

I'm asking because I'm trying to figure out TheNorm and Schmidty. As we approached mission deadline, TheNorm chose to go on the mission, but he didn't seem to have an inkling toward it -- he and I were back-and-forth about who would do which of the mission and oratory. Schmidty wasn't around before the mission deadline, so I guess he wasn't any help there.

Because I'm taking the 'not revealing until a camp activity requires it' line on this. There's also a high probability that I'll find something useful to the labor movement on this mission, so that's where I'm going.

Basically it said that tasks involving organization would get a benifit from my assistants of threefold a normal worker. SInce the mission was ORGANIZING a rescuie mission, I figured my specialty was in play... I am not sure as search makes sense there too, but I erred on the side of caution. My thinking was a little different than general thinking since I knew of the organizing specialty...I was hoping that the sypathizers may have not gotten that role, and were therefore unaware of its existance, therefore underestimating my (and hopefully others) effect on the mission.

It just would have been nice if you could have told us that you would not be able to help on organizing -- I thought you were catching up on the thread, and was waiting to see if you were an organizer to shed some light and help us in our planning. The fact that you chose to not help us out, plus are going on the mission instead of the camps, does not make you look good here.

So we've got to hope Schmidty is an organizer. And there's a damn good chance he doesn't show up in time for us to figure out mission plans, so we might as well make a guess now. My hunch is that he is an organizer -- I don't think path was one, no one else is one, and with 20 people and 8 skills, it's likely we had 4 skills of 3 each and 4 skills of 2 each.

Clearly we've got Sympathizers going on the mission at this point. Norm, you either have not caught up yet or are choosing to help the Sympathizers by going on the mission.

Even though I think Schmidty is an organizer, I want to look at worst-case scenario (that he isn't one):

Patrol -- 2 (both x3)
Food -- 9 (3 at x3, 6 at x1)
Organizing -- 6 (1 at x3, 5 at x1) (both x3)


That's 17 of 19. If we go based on this assumption, I think it's best if we just punt on the mission, and have none of the searchers go -- that seems more fair than choosing 2 of the searchers that get to go, and I'd rather just not get the items than let wolves get them.

Which puts us at 15 of 19. The three searchers, would get to go, plus one more....TheNorm, I guess. It would be nice to have backup for the food.
