So, looking back over the first couple of days:
- really, really screwed the pooch on D1 vote. I do not think Jackal was around near the deadline, was he? Man, wish that we could have gotten some movement on votes to change that vote. I think EF would have had fun gloating on D2 right up to the Nightfall. - I'm glad I didn't waste a lot of effort earlier today trying to create momentum around a Barkeep vote. Definitely a bummer that he was the first scan target, though. He has kept an extremely low profile in this game and I think we could have made hay with this later in the game. - I'm glad to see some conversation around putting pressure/votes on the low participation players. I'm not telling if this is a good strategy or not for this particular game, but I think it is a winning play overall. It is good to have opponents who are actively (not just passively) competing against you and it makes the game more fun to have actual conversations in the thread. - I've been impressed by the play of a couple of people this game, but it would kind of be telling for me to call them out at this point. |

Yeah, my guess was B. Then maybe A since Lathum is tricky like that. I really didn't want to post this, but RPI's only sent maybe 3 PM's all game and he's been brought up enough to warrant it's inclusion. Still, I'm not voting for him until he at least explains himself (or has a chance to). |

i think if lathum says its a simple game it probably is.. its usually a noive GM move to include rolls and not tell people about them... |

Indeed. Let me live one more day and then we can all PM RendeR at the deadline to tell him to read the thread. A good time would be had by all. Well, Telle lives with him so it would either be extremely high comedy or not good at all for her, depending on her perspective. But everyone else would be amused by this, right? |

Yeah, I would be pretty upset if there are hidden roles or anything not defined in the rules. That's how I'm working on.
Now will someone else please agree with me on gaining us a another night with a seer? Or prove me wrong either way... Don't stay quiet because it's easy. I hope it's not lost on people that Hoops, the admitted wolf, is who put the nightfall movement in place today. |

I made the BK scan choice in a rush, because I had thought the night deadline was at 10 PM when it was at 7, and Lathum let my order be a little late, and since I rushed to make a decision I just looked at the voting and picked someone who had voted for me early, and completely forgot about the message. Plus I wanted to know if he was a wolf or not. |

as far as RPI - that's some interesting information. I'm leaning towards B or C for certain. I think after we get rid of our furry-Illinoisian we turn our eyes toward RPI and he's probably the most likely target for tomorrow then

No nightfall, I have class until about 8:30 anyway.
There are no hidden roles/ mechanics except one. That is I forgot to mention Eaglefan is a hermaphordite slut who actualy drown in his/her own pus from ghonorea sores. Carry on. Last edited by Lathum : 01-12-2009 at 04:19 PM. |

Can we stop using letters and state the scenario we see likely? So personally I think at this point we're looking at a high likelihood of RPI having slipped with the Janitor role more than anything.

Or we could have Hoops tomorrow, RIP today and accomplish the same, but with an additional see. Sorry, I'm almost assuming Hoops is the Brutal at this point. Maybe it's my cynicism. |

I think presuming hoops to be the brutal is a good one. I'm just trying to game out the conclusion of this and am not sure. Am further not sure that any sort of candidate could emerge in time to swing the vote, even if moving off of hoops is the correct move there.

K, meant what I said earlier about being under the weather. I'm not sure how much more I'll be around between now and deadline. If you have any really interesting last minute questions post them and I'll try to get on one more time before deadline, assuming family (in another couple of hours) + medication (now) don't keep me away.
