@ NDatRivals: Official Notre Dame press release on signing day includes Eddie Vanderdoes.

Either his LOI is in or Notre Dame committed a violation

His LOI isn't in per ND. Saying they screwed up (and committed a violation.)

It would be even more awkward if he didn't go there.

Yup. I wouldn't be surprised if it was a "planned" mistake. I doubt anything comes of it other than a staff assistant gets "fired"

Let's also wait to see how many show up to class (well, maybe that's the wrong concept), practice on day 1.

Nope. It is the 4th. Hutchings, Mitchell, Rodgers, and Powell have all sent in their LOI. USC still has more 5 star players than any team in the country.

Keith Bryant wants to come to USC, but his mother just hi-jacked his LOI. SMH.

Rumor is that Kiffin might be gone sooner than later...

UCLA's last big mystery is probably Myles Jack. There are a few others they are waiting for, but none they are worried about losing. Cameron Judge has sent his in, but he has a school signing day at 3pm, so it'll be revealed then. ASU or UCLA

Bad news for UCLA as Craig Lee has not been accepted into UCLA due to grades. He really needs to kill it in the classroom this last semester apparently. He is still committed to UCLA and might do a greyshirt year to fix his grades

I'm so cynical I'd say there's very little chance they'll end up on probation. The NCAA drew the blueprint for how to cheat without penalty with Cam Newton. If Ole Miss gets in trouble it's only because they were too stupid to follow that blueprint.

Eh, I don't think there's much mystery on this one. Unless his mom has relented in the last 12 hours, he's signing with UCLA.

The real mystery is EV - did he send his LOI in to Notre Dame and they forgot he was saving his announcement for tonight, or did they really screw up and have it on there without having his LOI?

If it's the latter, I would guess Notre Dame flubbed it and he'll be pissed enough to pick UCLA or 'Bama.

On the Alabama board and they said Notre Dame did something similar with a basketball recruit a few years ago and then the NCAA prohibited them from continuing to recruit the guy.

Small class for Texas but loaded with O-Linemen. But the story will be the ones that got away. They had a total of 5 guys decommit, which is the total number they had do that from 2008-2012.

He was a top 50 player in the state of Texas rankings. He's really, really fast and if he's a receiver that Mike Leach likes, there is probably something to him.

This class was never going to be an all-time great class for the Horns because of scholarship limits but they lost a lot of top-tier kids, and not even just to major powers like Alabama, but to Baylor, TCU, etc. But what do you expect when you go three years without a 10-win season or BCS game and get absolutely destroyed by your biggest rival on national TV multiple years in a row......

The UT message board I subscribe to has been filled with fire Mack Brown threads for months, and the recent improprieties that have come to light probably marks the beginning of the end.

It probably doesn't help Texas when fans can see A&M now in the SEC with a class over twice the size even if a number never really make it.

Yeah, Tyrone Swoopes. His aunt is the former WNBAer Sheryl Swoopes. He is big (6'5" 230), quick (4.7 40), but needs work on his passing motion. There are a lot of folks out there comparing him to Vince Young, but that might be a bit of a stretch at this point. I think he'll end up redshirting this season (like VY did) and compete for the starting job next year after getting his mechanics worked on this fall.

His HS team had a horrible season this past fall, but it seemed to be mainly a lack of supporting cast. He played offense, defense, and special teams.

So USC announces Falah, but Nico is tweeting "Watch me make my college decision today at 4 on fox sports. Shocking the world" - I would have loved for the UW to sign him, but he's clearly an attention hound (as his later tweets further confirm), not a trait you typically see in linemen.

Jack was not a parents thing. That's more of a UW sour grapes issue. Jack has always maintained he was always coming to UCLA.

Falah's parents wanted him at UCLA and they allowed him to go to USC because he wanted to be there. He had buyers remorse, but UCLA stopped recruiting him before he even committed to USC because of the attention.
