Looking forward to it! Although, this week is a rough one to try to get in a game. Monday night is my anniversary. Tuesday I start my class. Thursday night would probably be my best time.

NO!!!! WE had a classic game going and connection dropped with 20 seconds left with USC trying to drive for a winning score. UGH!!! I saw the "waiting" message a few times and it always bounced back, but this time connection was lost

Dude, that was a great game. I apologize for letting the CPU finish, but with 20 seconds left and me on the way out the door I didn't have time to see what might have happened. It said you quit though, when it normally says connection with opponent was lost. I don't know why it said that, though. I thought you just lost connection. For what its worth, your guys tried a short pass that went for 6 yards and resulted in a fumble that was overturned on review, but the clock was running after the overturn so the last ~10 seconds clicked off with USC at the 30 or so before they could get another play run. It was a hell of a back and forth game though, I started well but then threw a couple horrible interceptions in consecutive drives to dig myself a hole. Dug out of it by the first drive of the 3rd quarter, and gained a slight advantage after forcing a field goal and scoring a TD on the ensuing drive. We traded TD's after that until there were about 4 minutes left. USC had scored and we were determined not to trap ourselves against the wall and give USC clock to try to score if we scored a TD. We drove slowly and made some huge plays on 3rd down to finish the drive with about 40 seconds left, leaving USC with no time outs in the process. They were moving the ball in 10-15 yard chunks but then with 20 seconds left and the ball on what I think was our 35 yard line or so, the game cut out and said my opponent quit. I'd be lying if I said a small piece of me wasn't thankful for the stroke of luck. GG Eaglesfan. Hopefully our next meeting goes all the way to the end before something unexpected happens.

Yeah, I definitely didn't quit. My connection dropped. We almost dropped 3 or 4 times. I kept getting "waiting for opponent" including that first TD pass when I had horrible lag, but waited for it to clear up before I threw the TD pass to my HB. The connection issues are really sucking the fun out of the league for me.

7 turnovers plus I fumbled 4 more times that I recovered it.
FML 39 seconds to go in the game I lead 14-3. T-H-I-R-T-Y-N-I-N-E SECONDS. Final score 21-18. At least we won |

We were able to take care of our UCLA, however we had no answer for their running game. We couldn't stop it and between their QB and 2 RBs they amassed over 300 yards rushing on my defense. Guess I need to shore up the DL a bit better for run stopping.

Not my week for NCAA football to play smooth. I started a game and was doing well in the 1st quarter and then my power flickered out. Going to try to get both of my games in between today and tomorrow because a potential snow storm is coming here Friday. Hopefully, this time goes smoother.

I thought we were going to crush Wisconsin, but they were surprisingly tough. I did try out a new defense that was a complete and utter disaster. Also, Gilmore threw 2 picks and fumbled it once, maybe ending his Heisman hopes (it seems to be very hard for a QB to win it if they have many turnovers.) But, he also threw for 600 yards and 8 TD's in a wild 77-63 win that saw them recover 2 onside kicks late. He also rushed for over 100 yards and 2 more TD's, so hopefully that balances out the turnovers.

Yeah, it was weird that it seemed to run really smoothly for about 3/4 of the game but early and late there were certainly some lag problems. On that TD pass youre talking about I thought "He must be enjoying the ability to essentially stop time and pick a WR right now" haha.. But it wasn't fun, I am with you on that. Not sure why it was like that though. We've played lag free a couple times haven't we? Its weird how fickle the internet tends to be.

Also, EF, one last thing.. Was it a deliberate choice to have One Direction karaoke going on your first few drives? Trying to shake my concentration? My son started copycatting on my end and if I had a headset it would have been quite the cacophony. It was working though I think. That second pick I threw was just bad.

No, I was watching my 7 year old girl while playing you. She was off from school for MLK. She insisted on singing karaoke while I was playing. It was very distracting for me too. Even worse was when I had to go help her with something midgame.

I don't remember if we have had any smooth games. I just remember our last 3 have been lag infested and drop connection infected. I don't seem to have that problem with Kodos or anyone else (or I'm forgetting if I have.) It was very frustrating. Especially the drop yesterday. You might have stopped me, but I felt good about our chances to win it once you scored with 43 seconds left. I've scored with less time against human opponents.

I was enjoying the performance, haha. Wasn't until my son chimed in that I started losing concentration, because he was right in my ear with it and he was so off key, heh. I guess maybe its my connection here then. I don't know what might cause it though, I have had no real lag issues on my end for the most part, but I do live in a small town where the internet comes from Zito Media, who is no doubt one of the largest internet providers in the country. Seems like it ought to be easier to connect and play against someone these days considering you could do it on a Dreamcast 15 plus years ago.

And I just played ASU and beat the hell out of them 70-3 but got the "commissioner has made changes" message, so I will have to try again later. I'll be trying to run up the score as much as possible in that one.

Didn't destroy Bama, but did beat them. I've been so damn sloppy over the last couple weeks I have no idea at all how I hung with you EF.
Did we drop accuracy any or am I just struggling?

No slider changes. My starter from last season has been a turnover machine. Luckily his backup has been stellar! I will be changing quarter length to 7 minutes. Tried to do it for this week, but advancing from the website negated that. Will advance from in game tonight. Last edited by Kodos : 01-31-2016 at 04:20 PM. |
