Stupid penalty to give Missouri another chance. How many times do you see something like that come back to bite a team in the ass?

OK, I guess when Missouri wants to call an idiotic play, it doesn't matter. What a moronic play call.

LSU is such a strange football team. They can look so putrid at times and then flip a switch and become dominant. Mississippi St. looks like Alabama right now. They are doing anything they want against LSU. 150+ passing yards in the quarter. They just put up a goal line stop and proceeded to give up a 98 yard TD drive. 5 plays, 98 yards, 1:21 off the clock.

Yikes.

Yet is there any doubt they'll come back and find a way to win? Strange, strange team

Illinois is trying to join Michigan in the bad day column. Still have a ways to go, but they are trailing Texas State.

I've been out of the country without cell/internet/tv access all week.
I got back in this AM and started catching up on all this Jameis Winston drama...

Wow....and its still continuing.

Hoping for a good game tonight but its a lose lose in a way. If Clemson pulls the upset it doesnt matter because they didnt get FSU's best shot. Meanwhile if they lose, its magnified because they lost to the only conference rival with their back up QB.

Oh well Im a tad sun burned, uber relaxed and way out of the loop...Im going to watch and enjoy this regardless of outcome.

BTW congrats Kodos...I just yelled exhuberantly and my wife was really confused as to why I cared that much about this game. I jus chuckled and said "its a football board inside joke"...

I know they aren't a bad team. Neither is Wisconsin who made LSU look like a junior high team until LSU decided to start playing. I could probably go back and find 10 LSU games like this in the last 5 years. You think they are dead and they will storm back.

Don't take anything of what I said to imply that they aren't a good team. Miss St. has some damned good athletes. IVery impressed with them.

I think we can all agree Vandy sucks and Miss St. is a good football team.

The Gamecocks have cut the lead to 4 with plenty of time left in the first half. They could go into the locker room with the lead. LSU down 14 to Miss St. at halftime.

Am I the only one who hates Jimbo Fisher with a passion? Everytime I see him talk, I just want to punch him. Watching Winsten running up and down the sideline pumping his fist doesn't help eihter. I think I may hate Florida St. now more than Alabama. Always like them before. I have issues

LSU really needs to turn it up quick or this will not be one of those games.

The Florida St. QB looks terrible. If Winston were to get hurt or suspended for more time, I'm wondering how many games FSU would lose, the rest of the year. I think it would be at least 2 or 3.

Don't get me wrong, I understand anyone losing a Heisman calibur QB would be in trouble. I just didn't think he'd be this bad.

I wouldn't be against Michigan's AD showing up on Narduzzi's door step with a truck load of money and see what happens. I don't think Hell is cold enough for it to happen, but it would be interesting.

Clemson's D Line is abusing FSU's O Line. Not saying the kid at QB isn't over-matched, but he is not having a good time when he drops back.

Three quarters for Miss St, 520 yards.

Meanwhile, Florida St. has 84 yards at halftime. Clemson may end up regretting not building a bigger lead in this game.

That said, FSU is going to need some special teams, defensive TD type of event to happen. I just can't see this QB leading them to 3 straight first downs, much less 10 points.

Yeah, the OLine is getting destroyed, but he's so over matched at this point it wouldn't matter. Hell, I think it might be worse. The better protection he gets would mean he'd make more reads and throws. His accuracy and decision making are off the charts bad. I know he's young and maybe he'll turn it around. right now it's bad.

Agreed with the bolded and it makes me a touch nervous.

That said my boys aren't letting them run the ball either... Clemson should have a top 5 D-Line this year. Lots of people forgot them after the UGA perfomance when 2 of their top 5 D-Linemen were suspended.

The second half is going to age me. But I just hope the coaches will stick with Deshaun Watson...the kid is special. He holds darn near every GA HS record for a QB. He is going to make a WTF play at some point, he is 18 years old, a true freshman, but he has the ability to do things that Stoudt simply doesnt possess the God give ability to do. The fact that he is a legit great kid is just a bonus. As a true freshman early enrolee during his first spring practice he pulled a JR aside and lambasted him for poor effort. I've been a big Watson fan for a few years and I HOPE he gets the spotlight in the 2nd half for all the right reasons.

Note: Even if it isn't on this drive, I believe it will happen. This guy is horrible and his accuracy is comical. The fact he led them on this drive is going to improve his confidence and the FSU play callers confidence. That is going to be a VERY bad combination.

Oregon, Oklahoma and 2 SEC teams in the playoffs. And Oklahoma and Oregon arent shoo-ins. We could see 4 SEC teams in the playoffs. I know it wont happen, but jeez, that conference is loaded.

Biggest win for Indiana since the Bucket game after Terry Hoeppner died. If we had somehow lost after that bogus roughing the passer call, I would have lost it.

As utterly deflating as the Bowling Green loss was last week, this is a real shot in the arm for Indiana football.

Triple coverage on 3rd and long, that may snap the FSU coaching staff back to reality. That ball should have been picked off.

What are you seeing to suggest that? They certainly could get two teams in because, well, it's the SEC and all of college football blows them. But I haven't seen any indications they are even more dominant than usual this year. Probably less actually.

Every other play is a near INT for Clemson. If that last throw is 1 foot down, it's the pick six I predicted. Clemson, still needs to put the game away. Far too close for how they have dominated. One huge D play or one of the FSU playmakers hits on a single play, all of that work so far is for naught.

All I'm asking for is FSU to lose this game, run the table, and miss out on the playoffs in some selection committee controversy so every single college football historian from now on has to be well-versed in this stupid meme.
