Did we up the difficulty so that the CPU no longer assists on D when you press the A button? I have discovered that I am entirely incompetent on defense without that crutch.

We moved up to Heisman, with couple of small bumps for humans suggested by gstelmack. Not sure about the A button thing. Apparently I've never used it.

Julio, you can have anyone from the MAC, WAC, Sunbelt, or Independents, except for Buffalo and FAU, which are taken.

What an ass kicking at the hands of Kodos...

We had several turnovers but the one thing that hurt was the dropped balls by a wide open RB several times in the game.

Good game, Macro. It got off to a bad start with the turnovers, and kinda snowballed from there.

I don't know why it did a fake punt in the second half. I called max punt coverage and was trying to kick it high. I just wanted you to know that I would never call a fake punt up big in the second half. Maybe I hit a wrong button? Anyhow, I was just as surprised as you when it went to my upback. I'm glad he didn't get a first.

No worries on the punt, I wasn't mad at you for it...I never really get upset, except for the missed FG return you pulled...I was yelling at my guys, telling them to get their fat asses up off the ground and get running!

I've never returned one of those for a TD, so I had to try to make it. I was surprised nobody caught him, as it was a linebacker, not a safety who caught it.

Held on to beat a bad FCS team...one of the stranger games Ive seen.
First in the second quarter we lost power at the house...(Insert cries of restart boosting, lol) FYI Dynasty Central says "2 restarts" on my game. Not sure what the second one was?

Then when I got power back on and gaming under way, the FCS West team came out in a 5 wide set and slung it all over the field in the first half. Lots of forced QB scrambles etc on this one, then the second half they totally converted to an option offense. Never seen that half time transformation before.

I am still not sure how we managed to beat Louisville, other than the typical "AI Offensive playcalling" that had them stalling drives in the second half and let us work our way back in. We were down 3 late, drove, and a QB draw came up 1 yard short, so we had to kick the tying FG and go to overtime. They kicked a FG, we took 2 passes to put it in the endzone, and escaped with the 3 point win.

We win a tight one over San Luis Obispo, 10-10 at the half, 17-17 at the end of 3, and then their QB throws a pair of 4th quarter picks to kill drives and we win 31-17. Happy for those INTs as we were down to our 3rd string HB by the end of the game (bruised ankle for the starter, concussion for his backup).

I would say FAU did nothing right, but that w at would imply we did anything at all.

Absolutely humiliated by UL Laff-at-you-ette.

And in more depressing news a scrub offered by the cpu before I took over committed. This kid is so horrible he will make the opponents better when he falls down and wipes out his teamates.

FML....

I should have just kept running my distillery.

But rest assured we will be get drunk.

I mean we will be back its just going to take 7 years like it does to age bourbon.

USC beat ASU 38-21 thanks to over 300 yards passing from our QB, over 200 yard for our speedy WR, and over 100 yards for our starting HB.

Question, how many years in was the dynasty before the change over to 2013?

Through three games this has been one of my most frustrating expereinces against an AI since I was probably 12, lol.

Literally I was in a shotgun formation getting sacked before the wr target letters illuminated, and my QB got sacked before he could hand off on a hb blast play...and that was against N Texas...God help us if we ever play a real team.

TCU's defense was ferocious, but their option run game didn't do too much. If they had run more traditional plays, I think they would have beat us. As it was, we eeked out a 17-7 win thanks to 1 or 2 big runs by our HB and 3 picks by our defense.

We also got 5 commits this week including the #2 FB in the nation (2 star player) who my staff believes is a major gem with an overall of 80. He should be an instant starter and the other commits look like very good players for us too.

Unless, we somehow advance today (very unlikely I know), I won't be able to play anymore until I'm back from my honeymoon which will be the 19th at the earliest (more likely the 20th or 21st.)

Holy nail biter Batman. Macro and I just had a really good one.. I got lucky in the end and pulled out the win after gambling on 4th and inches with the lead and about a minute left at my own 29.. I thought for sure I could ice it, but it was not to be.. Then Macro got down to my 2 with like 12 seconds left and I thought we lost it there until we got an amazing timely sack to push them back a bit and managed to hold them off from there. Our offense struggled through the first half, but found our feet in the second half.

Screen pass for the win!

Also want to give a shout out to the rain, they played like a 12th man for us on a few plays it seemed, allowing our DBs to slap out what looked like sure catches on a few occasions.

GG Macro.

Awesome! I have 2 hours planned for emergencies today... and things are progressing smoothly, so I should be able to get my recruiting done today

Okay chesapeake, I'm available pretty much any night from 8:30 eastern on (once the kids are in bed), with 10:00 the latest I'd prefer to play. I am unlikely to be able to carve out time during the day this weekend.

We had an epic offensive showing against SLO. We looked more like the late 80s version of our crosstown rivals, the Houston Cougars. My QB threw for nearly 700 yards, and one of my receivers had 6 TDs. Needed every bit of it in a 56-49 win. Nebraska is going to be a much tougher test.

Man, we choked a golden opportunity away this week with a poor showing overall. Need to sign some guys to give ourselves some hope for a brighter future.
