Central Michigan - 37 (1-2)
St. Louis - 3 (1-2) We woke back up as we lose our first home game in school history. Ardent is not going to be happy about our pass happy QB, but I'll have a talk with him. No turnovers from our defense either. Code:

The voice in his head telling him to go for broke and try to make the nfl draft are apparently louder than ardent's screaming in his ear. =D

I'm going to put two feet in his butt. There's no room for AUDIBLES in our system.
It's "Ready, Set, GO, GO!" That's it...no "Blue 42" or Red 38" or any of that crap! By the way, as the self appointed Recruiting Coordinator, I'm glad we've started to focus more on instate recruits. We should look around at neighboring states as well...just don't travel too far out.

St. Louis - 0 (1-3)
#50 West Virginia - 62 (3-1) As I went out onto the field to shake the UWV's head coach, I whispered in his ear.. "I won't forget this game".. he kind of looked at me with a surprise and I said, "You know what I'm talking about".. I know in college football, teams like to run up the score, but they were relentless when it was clear going into the 4th quarter down 45-0, who was going to win this one. I was just a little perturbed I guess. Code:

I'd rather we just run out the clock if we get too far behind. We don't have the horses or the carriage for a passing game.

Unfortunetly, you can't call plays in TCY.. but I'll see what I can do with the gameplan. Edit: honestly, there's not a lot within the gameplan to do things like this.. I have running mostly on 97% for a lot of the downs and yardage. Last edited by MizzouRah : 09-17-2006 at 12:17 AM. |

98 on all types would be preferred. We'll still end up throwing the ball if we get behind, but not near as much.

I've never used that program. I always just let the assistants handle the time management... adds an extra layer of challenge and reduces a TON of the headache from the game.

Well, we were down 31, it's hard to stop the passing even if it's at 99. The only other suggestion I could make is to make sure our passing plays are for moderate to long distance plays. If we're in a situation to pass, a screen pass for 3 or an out pattern for 5 yards won't do us much good.

It's true, though. He's not going to help us academically. I hope we can keep him eligible. I usually filter out any recruit not getting a 1000 on the test score. That way I don't have to worry about anyone but the walkons staying eligible.
