I agree with korme on the taco noodle thread. Time for a recipe thread. We'll need an index and everything. Someone with better posting skills than I will need to handle the details..

Miracle Whip is in the US - in fact, one of the great factionist culinary wars in the US is Miracle Whip vs Mayo (Miracle Whip, btw, though I don't mind mayo on a sub sandwich)

Hell, in my part of the country there's a even fiercer and more divisive war within the mayo category itself: Duke's vs Blue Plate.

About the only thing those factions agree on is scoffing at Hellman's and openly mocking Miracle Whip people

I've had tuna made with olive oil and chopped tomatoes and onions. This is our go-to tuna salad when our 6yo is not requesting the mayo-based tuna salad.

Of course, but he was asking about getting a plain piece of chicken--I wrongly assumed he was going for the fried version. On that one it is much easier to take the things off since it is so minimal.

I've long wondered about the cans of salmon. My brain just can't process the concept of premium canned fish, so I've never gotten beyond the curiosity phase.

Yeah, Flemington opened a year or two ago after Burger King burned down. The one I go to is in Newtown PA.

That I can understand more if the eggs are sliced up - would be like that one kind of Scandanavian sandwich whose name I'm not going to try to spell. But the idea of having a bite that's part dry, flavorless tuna that falls out of the sandwich and part plain mayo on bread just makes me shudder.

Well I can eat tuna straight out of the can as long as it's packed in water. (I do drain it)

At least with the can everything's packed in there, but once you put it in a sandwich without mixing in something like mayo as an adhesive, that's just asking for everything to crumble all over the place. I guess if you like tuna *that* much then picking up all the spare flakes at the end is probably enjoyable for you, ya sicko

If you get really soft bread.. it tends to hold in there for the most part.
