Tayshaun Prince. He might be one of my favorite players, but from his giant oblong head, to his oddly-shaped skinny body, he is the ugliest man I have ever seen.

Ah, Shorty, you came through!!!!!!! And you were the least likely person I would suspect to know about Mossi. Seems like everyone else here don't know a think about baseball history (or believe that baseball didn't start until the 1980s). Good job.

Hey now, I pointed out Joe Torre. Remember the passage in Ball Four where they're talking about the All-Ugly team and they decide Joe Torre is Hall-of-Fame Ugly? I wish I had my copy with me so I could quote the exact lines... |

I cannot believe Sam Cassell has not been given this award yet.

When I read this thread title I immediately thought, I wonder what Willie McGee is up to anyway.

Did the Elephant Man ever play any organized sports? Because if he didn't, then the list starts at george Muresan. If this contest contest includes a spoken word element, then Muresan wins by a mile. |

Mhuresan may be ugly, but he's got a medical condition that greatly adds to his ugliness. Don Mossi on the other hand has no such excuse - he was just plain U-G-L-Y.

Can we guess them all? I'll take Cassell and Sprewell from Minnesota, Gadzuric from Milwaukee, Dunleavy from the Warriors. There are a lot of ugly bastards on the Trailblazers, but I'm gonna go with Nick Van Exel

Former NC State player Jeremy Hyatt...(edit to add that I think he even made a David Letterman skit once on account of his looks)

I'm betting the second Minnesota guy is Ervin Johnson rather than Spree. I love Erv, we have the same alma mater and he's a great guy, but he's an ugly dude. No way to sugarcoat it. |

First thing I thought of was Andre the Giant, I see his picture was posted.
With regard to Willie McGee anyone remember Howard Cosell's comment about his looks on Monday Night Baseball? Don't recall the year but Cosell said something to the effect of " I don't know I like the little fellow. Kind of reminds me of E.T." |

I was half surprised no one made the "this thread is useless without pix" comment early on.

But the women absolutely love him for some reason... In the international bracket I have to go with a couple of basketball players. Jaber Rouzbahani is a 7'5" baller from Iran. Or as I like to call him, Barlow... Ha Seung Jin is a 7'3" Korean dude playing for the Blazers.

I don't even remember if I voted in the poll, but I have to go with my man Otis Nixon on that one. This is my favorite picture of him:
