Van Jefferson's wife just left the stadium on a stretcher about to give birth.

They wait until that moment to call PI. Unbelievable. No flags all game. Terrible call too.

That's pretty weak, but I guess it's the makeup for Higgins.

That was a pretty weak call. Feels like it offsets the TD flag for Cincy

Calling penalties when it matters.

Offsetting penalties. Kinda good for Rams, don't want to give Burrow too much time.

If the Rams can't score a TD on the <5 yard line, they don't deserve to win

This is going to come down to McPherson missing a FG to tie, isn't it?

Only if it’s from like 75 yards.

Fair odds that Burrow can get them into FG range in 1:25.

Let's go OT.

There's enough time left for the Chiefs to kick 9 FGs.

I think that all the qb's in the league got together and payed off the refs when they heard Aaron Donald would retire if they win the Super Bowl.

Your pass protection is your weakest part of your offense. The pass rush is the best part of the defense. It's 4th and 1. What the fuck was that play call in that situation?

Matthew Stafford finishes the game with 283 passing yards. Eli Manning's post season record still stands.

Not even burn a final timeout hoping for a possibility of a botched snap? Extremely unlikely but why not give it a shot?

Yeah, but I don't think any other playoff team, maybe with the exception of Pitt, would have been so dominated in the second half.

Taylor seems like the kind of coach that is going to underachieve the next few years, get replaced by a plug and play new coach, and then the Bengals will be consistent Super Bowl contenders for the next ten years.

Also, is Stafford a Hall of Famer if he retires today? He’s top 12-15 in most longevity records and now has the Super Bowl.

Let me tell you about Mike Brown. Any coaching change where Brown is making the decision has a very high chance of making the team worse.

Solid game. Was rooting for bengals but rams deserved the win. Rams dline vs bengals oline proved to be the difference. Stafford played well, can't really even hold the picks against him.

I was mildly rooting for Donald and the Rams anyway, but the absurd no-call TD cemented it.

While I know we all love absurd aerial shootouts like the Chiefs/Bills earlier this season, there is something oddly compelling about the teams without key elements, or whose plans are failing in certain major ways, who still have to overcome that. Rather like the late rounds of a boxing match when both fighters are shot.

I mean, I know the Xs and Os mini chalkboard says you can't double Kupp at the end for fear of giving up something super easy over the middle... but FFS you just leave poor Eli Apple out there to try to mug him again? That's your plan against that offense there? One guy, that guy, on Kupp? All right man. Hope your line gets you a chance to score, cuz that ain't it.

I enjoyed it. Nice to see Stafford get the win after suffering so long in Detroit. People here seem genuinely happy for him.

It was hard to believe just how depleted the Rams' passing game became. They aren't like the Patriots - they won't go to RB screens like Belichick did in similar circumstances. So when Beckham went down and Jefferson was having some issues (I guess understandable if his wife needed to go to the hospital), it was Kupp or bust.

That third-string TE from Purdue, Hopkins, fourth rounder in 2020. He had one career target and catch going into tonight. But four targets and catches tonight - including two on that last drive. That's how tough it was for Stafford after the Beckham injury.

I like that Donald gets his ring. Great players like that take over sometimes.
