Reading through my own posts here I was definitely skeptical, though I'm not sure if I qualify as one of the "right-leaning" posters. Over the 12 years from when this thread first started I have certainly changed my view, going from down-right skeptic originally to "yeah, it's a problem but I'm still wary of the politics around the solutions" to my current take of "we need to be getting on this problem yesterday, politics be damned". Perhaps it's a bit of a combo of the right-leaning posters leaving and the centrists moving more left over time?

Climate change is definitely an issue on which I've switched from conservative to liberal. Most of that I don't think is so much me changing though some of it is. What we know now compared to 20 years ago is much different.
