Very unhappy about that one.

He is going to be a good one.

Also, hearing that Latwan Anderson may visit USC this weekend now.

Pullard and Markeith Ambles have both announced for USC as well! Today, is going to be a very good day for USC.

I've been hearing that all along about Anderson. As long as they have room for him (which they may with Darr's decommittment), I think he is going to end up at USC. He called it his dream school on the record, and I don't believe he said that about any other school, although I could be wrong.

5* Cincinnati RB Spencer Ware was LSU's first signee this morning. From everything I've seem of his game tapes, highlights and all-star game appearances, he should be awesome for the next 3-4 years. I love Signing Day.

Word is that USC is going to get a big name today that nobody predicted and will be a big shocker. My guess is that Christian Jones secretly visited at some point. Then again, he has been on the radar a bit, so it will probably be someone else.

WVU holds on to Mike Dorsey, a good looking, big safety out of Ohio, who seemed like he had eyes for Michigan State for a little while. He's a good pick up for the Mountaineers.

Dawg - looks like 'grats on Parker. In normal years it would have hurt but I think I am finally immune to it all . Distance seemed to be the biggest factor plus the comfort of having teammates. Sark is doing good things.

Not a big surprise really but that's now the Tweet from the Knox News-Sentinel as well.

Yeah we've suspected this one for quite a while, but been worried about qualifying. Supposedly he has been making progress on it, though. DL is a big need for us. If we can get Barnett and Byron Jones I'd be pretty happy today.

S Travis Bell switches back from his Marshall commitment to sign with WVU. Apparently the coaches didn't expect this one.

Another guy that defected from WVU to UM, WR Darius Millines, signed with Illinois today.

They're starting to sweat it a little here in Athens.

Most years there's a line of fans at the door of the athletic complex by 7am waiting to get in when the doors open at 8a. Today? Nobody except staff & media when they started at 8. As in, nada, zip, {crickets}.

Even the local beat guys, usually erring on the side of where their bread is buttered, are talking about "worst recruiting class in at least a decade".

DT Mike Stephenson chooses UGA this morning "was also considering Penn State, Kentucky, Miami and Auburn." (he's the 39 offers guy from the article I linked earlier in the week)

edit to add: Da'Rick Rogers now official to UT (I just hope & pray he turns out to be worth the effort instead of the head case he strikes me as)

Sounds like Ash still isn't certain where he is going. He'd be the only decommit so if he goes, so be it. Jibreel Black signing was huge.

UGA's long-time SID says Rogers is the biggest commit ever lost by the Dawgs since "as long as they’ve been rating players with stars". He cited former Clemson & NFL LB John Johnson's defection back in '91 as the previous biggest loss.

Describe?

McCartney was about to put a Miami cap on, then his sister ran out with a WVU cap and he put it on. Glad he chose us, but I hate that crap. Seems really disrespectful to the staffs that took time to visit, watch, and get to know you.

Been committed to Auburn for months (and was quite obnoxious about it). Last night he called Arkansas and asked for LOI papers to fill out, then signed with Auburn this morning (by the way, no one here bought it). Still an a-hole move.

So...Keenan Allen delays his press conference over an hour, with everyone there and him walking around, finally his high school coach says, "I have to get back to the school, but the LOIs were faxed around 9AM to CAL"

Got the one we really needed in Byran Jones. The class is officially a success with him on board (despite what the stupid rankings say, this class is deep and addressed our needs).
