I'm really hoping I can get Ga Tech back up to 4* in just one season by making a bowl game next year. From taking NC State from 3* to 5* in my solo dynasty, it seems that it can drastically impact the quality of recruits that are interested in you.

Nice! I didn't expect to nab Heinz as he had Fresno State ahead of me all year. Pretty much got everybody I was chasing. Now I just have to live up to all the promises I made...oh chit.
Thanks for posting those DeToxRox, appreciated. |

Just so I know...did anybody in the Big 10 promise a conference championship?

I signed several 3* players made me happy as I jumped up 40 spots.
As far as promises, if they have talent and I know they can play ahead of some of my current players, I will promise no redshirt and I generally promise the rival win (it would have backfired on me this past season). We will see what the next round brings us, I am pursuing QB talent big time right now to replace Max Hall.

I promised every recruit we'd have a winning record vs our rivals.

Clemson now has the #4 recruiting class in the country. We've filled in the suddenly huge hole at HB with a couple guys that will see plenty of carries.
I've been making promises like a crazy man. I've only promised two recruits a conference title, though....hoping that the extra push from that lands them, thus helping us actually win the conference title (something we didn't even do this year, despite finishing ranked third)

Well, all you need is two wins vs Michigan/USC/State/Purdue

I must have gotten the prestige ratings confused.
I guessing I have 5 stars for my prestige, and a 5/6 rating for Notre Dame. I can't remember if I have lost or gain any stars for the school. |

I finished my recruiting for this round, so now we just have EF27, SirFozzie, and Pumpis Maximus left.

I didn't promise a conference title, strictly based on the extremely high percentage of starters I lost to the draft/transfers.

Honestly, if you didn't kick my ass with PSU, there'd have to be something wrong with you. I could have made it a bit closer, but in most any case, you should have beaten me going away. And you did. When I picked IU, I knew I would have to take my lumps. Otherwise, I probably would have taken PSU or FSU (my second and third favorite teams in real life - brother went to Penn State, parents went to FSU).

Agreed. It's all in good fun. I'm not really use to playing with a team with a high rating just in general. In my offline dynasty I play as Vandy, and my OVR is 69. I routinely get spanked by the 95+ OVR teams. Playing as PSU is fun, but next year I wont be surprised if my OVR drops to mid 80's. I'm really losing that many people.

And for all intents and purposes, you beat me as IU with Stanford, even if I got lucky and beat you on a hail mary. You're clearly a better player in my mind. Add that to a superior roster, and it equals me getting annihilated, barring you turning the ball over multiple times. I really just want to get IU to be amongst the best teams. I know I'll never get a national championship out of them in an online dynasty. |

In real life, not much to enjoy. IU is horrible, which is to be expected, but I really thought after last season that maybe we had turned a corner. But no, our coach is just not a Big Ten caliber coach. Period. At least I've gotten to watch Michigan suck as well. And OSU has lost a step. If PSU could get a championship, that would save the season. But as far as IU is concerned, it has turned into a total debacle.

Just finished up with my recruiting. That just leaves EF27, and Kodos. I noticed the Pumpmeister still had about 2 hours left...but I'm just going to assume that since this week is his babydaddy, that he's done.

Yeah, I was about to go out of the house, and I forgot to set ready to advance. Even though I have 2+ hours left, I'm done for the week.
