In this game against Tennessee we take the lead, then my starting QB Clark gets a concussion, out for game.

Enter our 2nd string QB and it's a slugfest as they tie the game then wham, injury..out for 3 weeks.

So we have a 3rd String QB in, trying to win @ Tennessee. We got to Double OT and lose as I throw the INT.

We were standing at a stalemate with Oklahoma State after going back and forth for about 3 quarters. The 4th quarter was ours and we pulled away with a strong finish to win 56-31. The run game was hitting on all cylinders and we nailed a few nice throws late in the game to blow things open, and our defense cooled their run game off after giving up 70 plus rushing yards to them on the first 2 plays of the game.

Pulling in 7 recruits is huge though, this team was beginning to get real thin in some spots.

I took a 21-0 lead with 2 minutes left if the 1st quarter. A play that would put us up 28-0 but the WR came down out of bounds and my QB was injured on the play.

2nd string comes in and fumbles his first play from scrimmage.

WHen we got the ball back the 3rd string QB was in. I tried to sub the 2nd QB back in but he would go and didnt show injured.

4 Turnovers later and we had to hang on to win 35-28...

I had a one score game going into the 4th with Ohio State and breaker switch to the house reset cutting power to the xbox. Had to restart and won by a much larger margin.

The xbox screen shows 2 restarts. But there was only one restart. Is that normal? Does it just mean the game started twice (one normal and one restart)?

Anyway that was the issue for the restart. Apologies if it caused any confusion.

Finally had a decent game, shutting out Houston.

I'll be offline until next weekend, so if we roll over this week, I'll get my game in next Sunday.

Game complete. Not happy with my team this season, 1-5 losing every game in the 4th qtr but how I am losing them is what is pissing me off.

1st) Turnovers that are being returned for TDs. We are talking like DL scooping and scoring and running like Barry Sanders

2) Getting pounded by option QB's that can bounce around like a pinball and still keep their feet.

3) Injuries. I have never been bit this bad by the injury bug. My players are constantly being dinged and out for qtrs and if not the entire game

Just very frustrated because I haven't been dominated in the game and I end up losing it in the 4th qtr or the miracle TD the score.

We beat Oklahoma late after going into the 4th quarter tied. A late 95 yard pick 6 for our defense helped separate us and we pulled away a little at the end for a 59-45 final. The pick 6 was impressive, there was a killer juke in there that made the play happen so I saved it. Made the Oklahoma tacklers look like idiots. Felt cool.

sigh.
from the moment it started we were destined to lose this game.

3 separate booth reviews went in the CPU favor.
Starting QB, top WR and DE all knocked out of the game.

Still we battled back to tie with just 17 seconds left.
Then the CPU somehow completes 4 passes in 17 seconds including the 67 yard hail mary into zone 4 coverage expecting the pass...WSU loses their first of the season.

In other news, I got bested by Bama. What a disgusting loss, too - we came back from a 28-3 deficit with 1:15 left in the first half to tie it at 31 going into the 4th.. In the 4th we gave up a score and were driving to answer with less than 30 seconds left and lesst than 5 yards to go when one of our receivers gets popped and fumbles, killing our chances at a tie/win.

Frustrating as hell, but I deserved to lose as bad as I played in the first half.

It was a great game! I figured you would play for the OT knowing it would come down to the 2 pt force and you would pull it out there, I didn't think you would go for two at the end. I was out of timeouts and had my FG team in.

It was a battle and that RB of yours shredded my Defense.

I had to convert that one crazy 4th down and several 3rd and longs and I dont think I ever got you in 3rd down all game except in the red zone.

I am working on getting the week advanced.. Every time I initially sign in to the franchise though, it shows me that we are in week one of some season, and that makes no sense. It has been this way since I took over as commish...

Anyway, that has always resolved itself when I log out and back in.. The only problem is that every time I log out and go to log back in, the game freezes trying to load a roster set.
