So we're all agreed? An FOFC convention hosted by Belvoir Winery with a free tasting and catered by Jack Stack? I'm in.

We don't have to do one at the winery necessarily, but there's far too many FOFCers in this area not to do a meetup for booze and food.

Hell, I'm going to be at the Friday/Saturday Royals vs. Cardinals games in St. Louis this weekend. If there's any FOFC people going to the games, let me know. Planning on getting to both games early.

I had a pretty interesting experience with my event coordinator (Rachel) the other day. We were taking trash outside to the dumpster after a wedding. It was around 2:00 AM. As we were walking into the building, just to my left about 10-15 feet, I heard a distinct child's voice say "Hello!". It was very loud. I stopped in my tracks to see if I could figure it out. While looking towards the voice, I asked Rachel if she heard that. No response. I asked her again and turned to see her running into the building. As she went in, she said, "Yes, I did and I'm not hanging around to find out what the hell it was!"

It's only the third time I've experienced something with another person. It's always nice to have someone affirm that you're not crazy. Only disappointment is that whatever it was didn't say anything else, but it was without question the clearest voice I've ever heard out there.
