Probably, since that would imply beating Alabama on Nov 3, as well as two other (currently) ranked teams, as well as whoever wins the SEC East (possibly a Top 5 Florida team)

Looking ahead to next week's games, it appears that FSU Coach Jimbo Fisher is going to prepare his FSU Seminoles for the Miami crowd noise by pumping in the voice of 3,000 fans during FSU's practices this week.

It's the follow up to a huge home game and they had to go play at LSU at night. Good luck with that.

This has not been an LSU team that looked particularly unbeatable for several weeks. Looked really mediocre at home for a half against Towson State, struggled on the road with a really bad Auburn team. And to let them get the kind of yardage they got tonight, after being completely shut down by Florida? For what SC was supposed to be, that's a bed shitting. Unless, of course, as we now know, they were simply pretenders themselves.

I'm not entirely sure what SC is suppose to be. They had a single great game while playing at home against a team that can't handle getting punched in the mouth and gave up 44 to Tennessee the week before. SC spent a ton of energy on that game, and I'm not surprised that they had a difficult time against maybe the best defense in the country while on the road the following week. LSU lost at Florida, which again, isn't an easy place to win at when Florida is ready to play. If SC turns around and can beat Florida at home next week, then maybe they can prove they belong better.
OSU looks to be WVU like this year. They might be scoring, but they have to.

I think I see the problem here. You're confused. You thought SC played Alabama instead of LSU. SC was playing the team that allowed 291 yds offense to Towson State and 176 rushing yards to Florida. If SC was a contender, rather than a pretender (which was how they were positioned after last week) then they aren't held under 40 yards rushing by anybody outside of the NFL.

Texas A&M trying to blow a 27-0 lead vs LaTech. Now 46-44 (LaTech missed 2 pt conversion), still 12 mins left.

I did write it second best D, but changed it to best. I don't think their offense helps them much either. 'Bama last year gave up a bunch of run yards to Georgia Southern as well. LSU's defense is still top notch. I look at SC having an empty tank versus shitting the bed. That's what Georgia did last week.

So proud of my Hoosiers tonight. Very nearly took down Ohio State. Showed a ton of heart.
Next year, we will make a bowl. Still an outside chance of doing it this year. |

Awesome (and sad, since it happened to the little guy in La Tech) that a blocked PAT turned defensive 2-point conversion provided the margin of victory.

I think its time for Sudfeld to get the keys to the offense.

Agree 100%. Coffman is good, but I think Sudfeld is better about getting the ball downfield on long passes. |

A few times when he was warming up in the second half he was wincing, but the kid has grit. I do wish Lark would have been given the chance, Riley isn't a D1 QB to me. I also feel Bronco dedicated to the pass to much. It felt a lot like the Bills/Pats game I watched a few weeks ago. Rush 3 or 4, drop back. When max protect packages are in, the QB has all day to throw and someone is bound to get open. I will say this much. There were some great plays and some lucky plays there but your guys took advantage.

Don't worry, it'll still be a photo finish to see if a 1 loss SEC team can hop a 0 loss other team for that second spot in the national title game SI

A 1 loss SEC team isn't jumping an undefeated Oregon, KSU, or ND team.

I'm not certain, but Florida is the only team that could still finish with 1 loss if Alabama makes it to the national championship game undefeated.

A one loss Florida team isn't jumping undefeated versions of those teams either.
