*ahem* I'd like to refer you back to post 97 if you don't mind.

Not bad, not bad, but as soon as that casing is wrecked, that cross guard becomes potentially problematic for the one holding that saber.

His enthusiasm is awesome, love it.

Pretty sure we need an episode of Deadliest Warrior on this one

Let's Break Down The Secrets And Spectacle Of The NewÂ*Star WarsÂ*Trailer!

Looks like Chrome Stormtrooper is played by Brienne from GoT.

Amazing.

I've made (and make) films on the side so I never have a problem reading spoilers and having that ruin my movie experience. Until this film. I couldn't get scenes out of my head for weeks.

December really can't get here enough.

ok it was nice, but i noticed a huge flaw in logic real fast. any star destroyer that would have crashed in the desert would have been scavenged for parts and scraps, there wouldnt have been much of it left with those grubby sand people and jawwas in the dessert

I'm not even really a huge Star Wars fan and that trailer got me excited. Feel like watching the original trilogy again.

Either they really really know how to cut a trailer or this looks like its going to be the kind of good that totally wrecks the box office.

Looks great, but I'm surprised there's no Luke to be found anywhere. Get's me pumped for it, now only 8 weeks away.

We're going with my 7 year old. So even if it's Episode 1 level suckage, he will enjoy seeing Star Wars on the big screen, which means that I will enjoy it.

Anyone got a voice by voice trailer breakdown?

First one- Who are you?-that's Gwendolyn Christie, right. Given her role, I think this makes sense

Last part about let the force in-Carrie Fisher?

All the websites were down so I went to a theater nearby and purchased 2 for the Marathon events.

Starts with Phantom Menace at 2am and ends with The Force Awakens at 7p. Perfect birthday present.

First one is definitely Nyongo'o.

I think Christie could have a silent role as Phasma.

Abram's Star Trek movies weren't terrible, but they didn't really look or feel like Star Trek movies.

These trailers definitely have that Star Wars feel to them, which is encouraging.

About a decade ago, there was a show called "Dinner For Five". All?, Most?, of the episodes are on YouTube now. I love shows like this where actors, directors, etc. talk about behind-the-scenes stories. I found the show about a month ago and have been watching through them.

In this episode, Kevin Smith is the guest host (Jon Favreau is the usual host). Mark Hamill talks about how he tried to convince George Lucas that Luke Skywalker should turn to the dark side in episode 6. JJ Abrams was also sitting at the table.

(The Star Wars part beings at 10:54)

Interesting insights. I don't have my schedule yet, but I do know that I have 2 days off so I bought tickets for the whole family to go to the 3d Imax on the 22nd. Everyone, except probably the Mrs, is excited for it. Some of my friends have been trying to avoid a lot of the hype, but I've been eating it up.

I just remember sitting in the theater for the PM and thinking that while this was awesome, it just kind of sucked, but that kids probably liked it. I really don't want that experience again. I want the experience I had when I watched the new Star Trek movies and because of JJ, I'm even more excited that I may actually get it.
