Yeah I'm pretty sure it was for me too. At least I don't remember seeing the Saxons last time I bought it.

If you owned all the DLC it would've had allowed you to purchase the game. In the future if you want to check what you have you can right click on a game in Steam and there's an option to view DLC you own. |

Ah so it doesn't allow you to purchase the DLC if you have it all? Great to know, thanks. And thanks for the other tip too.

So did I. Then I saw Gamersgate had Saxons for $2.50. I'm not complaining but I wonder if the Gamersgate expansion would work with the Steam game and would it then be recognized by Steam and autoupdated. Anyone know?

If Quentin Tarantino made a side scroller... It's the kind of gruesome fighting kind of action. It is easier with a controller. I still may remap my buttons though. There is a short demo of it around as well.

Went ahead and bought the X Superbox. I've almost bought X2 and 3 a few times now on sale, so I figured I might as well for 13 bucks. I think I'm going to stop checking now, I can't buy much more and get them played.

Yep, Witcher and Lara Croft I missed out on. Witcher is a easy pickup. Still not sure how I feel about the Lara Croft one after playing the demo a little bit. I think using the controller will help and another poster on a different forum said he loved it.

just wanted to thank you VERY MUCH for this tip. I did not know of this option but just tried and it is ridiculously easy. Backed up a game, uninstalled it and reinstalled it from the disk. The DVD even comes with an autorun with a little menu prompting me to which game I'd want to reinstall. Nice! With all these sales with Steam, I wanted to try new games but was getting stuck with a lack on HD space. Now I can temporarily back up a game without being annoyed that I'd have to redownload it if I ever want to play it. Reinstall of a 2GB game took maybe 5 minutes, sure beats the long download time... Thanks again! FM

I've wanted to get my hands on Mirror's Edge ever since I played the iOS version of it. Looks like this is my chance.

I even have two copies of the game(XBox, PC), but I'm trying to go disk free so I would only get it at a cheap price. So far everything else looks nice to have, but I ODed on week one so it's going to take something extra to really stand out. Neverwinter Nights 2, Mirror's Edge, and Machinarium would also be easy pick ups if I wasn't so set as is.

Steam sucks so bad, I pay for games I already own and have beaten just so I can play them again, without carrying discs around.
So I added NWN 2, VIKKY 2, and KoTOR today.

Hmmm. I don't have a lot of time lately .. yet I'm snowed in tonight at hotel and find myself tempted by multiple games in the paradox pack. Am I crazy for considering buying the whole pack? There are a lot of games in there I don't own and have always wanted to play like Victoria II, Hearts of Iron 3, Majesty 2, among others. It's either the pack or just one of those games.
Edit: Add Sword of the Stars and a few other games in there that have always interested me, but I've never bought. Hopefully, I find time to play them all because I just bought the Paradox pack.

Only game I owned in the collection was the base King Arthur game, so I feel like I got good value. Now, I just need time to play some of them, but I do have 5 more days of vacation once I get back to Louisiana. About to start a game of Majesty 2 now. |

dang, 7+ GB is a big download... Plus I had to pause it when my son wanted to play on his Steam account. Should be done at some point, I guess... Every time I see these big download, I'm reminded of how old I am. Used to be that a big game was Ultima IV and its 5-6 floppies. FM

I'm considering Cities XL 2011 at 50%, have any of you played it? is it a good city builder?
I haven't played a good city builder/tycoon game since the Caesar/Pharaoh series, any recommendation if not Cities XL?

I blame Steam for my having too many things to play and not enough time to play them...
Just made an impulse buy of the Indie Mix Pack and Sim City 4. I guess I can't complain too much though, 6 games for under 10 bucks is a good deal in my book. |

I finally purchased all the Railroad tycoon pack (1, 2 and sid Meier's). I'm
Having a blast with them as tycoon games plus my 3 years old kid loves trains above any other toy, so he enjoys a lot watching me playing it and seeing the trains moving around, telling me the color choice for them, etc.
