Interesting evening. FTR I didn't get any indication of what happened so I unfortunately can't confirm or deny. I will take Poli at his word at this point as I see no reason to doubt at the moment.

I am surprised they didn't go after Poli. I couldn't have been the only one to pick up on him outing himself in his rant earlier.

For the question on Pass, didn't his description basically say that he had a gun, he was a gun thug afterall. I think it would be hard to keep that rep up without an actual gun.

After last game I would have thought to have been the last person he would have protected.

There is one thing that is making me a little curious. I am not a hunter. I am food distribution. I think hunting is a different skill all together.

I am not sure why the sympathizers would have went after me based on Poli's logic. Why would they chose to go after someone that may have been given a gun? I would think that they would have gone after either the hunter that was specifically pointed out as not getting it, or someone entirely different (which is the category that I would fall in since I am not a hunter).

I still believe Poli as I would think that a sympathizer would have a much tighter story to use if they were fake revealing. I think things were just blind luck, but in WW blind luck is good.

I think I am going to have to take some time this weekend and create some better notes than I have. I need to start pouring over Pass' posts to see how he reacted to some things (like my PB theory).

Going to wait until closer to the deadline to see where my work time will be needed. It looks like an important mission though so we should probably not go for overkill on the camp if possible (enough to win it but not too much that we don't have enough to win the mission, which is the unknown here).

My guess is that we are going to have sympathizers faking on the mission today.

John Nugent, former president of District 17 went to work for the mines in 1907 as a strike buster and was employed as the State of WV State Commissioner of Immigration but was paid no salary by the state, instead being paid by the mines. He used his power to bring in scabs and fight strikes.

Vote Jackal

Nail in RendeR's coffin? At no point during the last bit of voting was RendeR in the lead. I was going to be lynched whether or not Pass voted RendeR. Have you considered even for a moment that -neither- of us are wolves?

Furthermore, I don't like someone who didn't get an action in being less suspicious than me. There's no rush to vote so I'll hold off to see what happens on the mission, but common.

Nope. Not wanting to take away from what you did but I guess it was just a really great coincidence.

Wear better glasses the next time you protect someone, maybe you'll get a good look at the attacker then...

Danny's lack of action doesn't really make him any more or less supicious. His participation would not have mattered as it was Schmidty's that cost us.

I think with Schmidty it was just a matter of real life getting in the way. With that said it would have been nice if he could have used a place holder early in the day when I believe he was on briefly, especially since his skill was one of the tasks.

It just seems WAY too obvious for a wolf to just not show up and cost us the camp. Maybe I give a little too much slack to someone having RL get in the way of the game as it is just a game.

Well, if missing a work order doesn't pass as suspicious, I don't know what to say. There's pretty much 0 evidence lined up against me aside from a couple of people's vibes, the only reason render and I were in the showdown is because we're searchers, so I'm just trying to present a modicum of an argument here.

I'm assuming Schmidty has been removed from the game.. I don't really know how that situation has fleshed out as I sort've skimmed posts, but I'm really just trying to figure out why Danny's right on top of me.

As of 1564:

Work:
Hunting - Danny (1534), BK (1536) (2/10)
Patrol - CR (1528), Poli (1535), USFLTecmo (1549) (3/10)
Mission - (0/?)

Voting:
Jackal 2 - Danny (1503), TheNorm (1545)

I don't have the time to look up the multipliers so if someone know them and can fill in the correct work units that would be great. I am about to head into a meeting which will bring me up to around 2:30 so I will check in before the mission to see if I am needed for mission or work.

I think CR and USFL are x3 patrollers, and the only hunter we have left is norm unless I'm mistaken?

On a separate note - why are you voting for me, Norm? You realize the post you quoted when you voted is incorrect since Pass' vote really didn't matter? I don't see how him casting a mostly unimportant vote makes me likelier to be a wolf.

I don't get the Danny thing. He had a different approach to Day 2 than I did, in that he wanted to go all-in on the mission. Is that the suspicion against him? Or is it really that he's just been a very effective wolf lately and is getting some residual suspicion from that?

I try not to consider what people have been in recent games because it can really skew how you view them, so that hasn't been in my mind. His plan for everyone to go on the mission pinged me, but we've gotten through that. And then he missed the work order, which conveniently wouldn't have mattered.. but I don't think that should clear someone.

And then there's just my suspicion of him personally because of the vibe he's supposedly drawing off me, but that's not really something that can be shared with others.

I don't know if Danny is the right way to go, but he's not giving me much choice.

Right now I'm assuming I should stay and help with the camps. If we need searchers on the mission I'm sure people would rather Poli or possibly RendeR go, but if you want me to help on the mission let me know.

I'm a searcher, so I have only 1 work unit to offer for the camps. LEt me know if you think I should work or go on the mission?

Work would be more important, especially if we have only 1 hunter with multiple points in the skill.

To clarify. I don't exactly suspect Danny. The vote was pretty much for missing the work order and he was around much more than Schmidty so he should have less of an excuse.

I also didn't want to see a runaway on Jackal. I don't see the suuspicion on him yet but a runaway vote does us no good at all if he turns up good.

The next part of my meeting is going to start in a couple minutes. I will put this action in but would rather go on the hunting mission to help convert the camp. I doubt my skills will help on the mission much, unless we want to dstribute food to this guy.

We have 17 left?

We need 10 and 10 for the camp.

Right now we have 2/10 and 7/10 involving 5 people. If I read correctly we have a potential x3 for one of them left which means we need 9 more people minimum on the camp. That means we can afford 3 people on the mission which should probably be all oratory.

Looking this over, I'll suggest that perhaps oratory isn't our best bet as much as race. Now Abe has strongly cautioned against revealing race, but I'll just throw that idea out there.

I don't really see anything there mentioning that race would be an issue. Just because he is black doesn't mean that race is an issue, but that is just my take.
