This is the bad version of UW's defense and that's a problem against at team like Michigan.

This felt like a game that was going to get out of hand, and it has slowed down and gotten tight.

15-0 is historic and impressive. With the new playoffs, it will be fun to see how long it will take for a team to get more wins with an undefeated season.

Washington is a deserving participant and deserves #2. Played a lot closer than the final score. Penix is a great college QB with a ton of experience and isn’t a 1st rounder, but will have a nice NFL career.

Still love college football.

Thanks!

This year was always Michigan's best shot at a National Championship. They had a team loaded with upper classmen, two great running backs, great defense and a experienced quarterback in a year where most of the premiere programs lacked experience, especially at quarterback.

It's going to be... different after this. Harbuagh could very likely be gone. Lots of seniors and juniors will be leaving. The Big Ten expands. Potential sanctions hanging over the program.

Lots of uncertainty in the future...

But for today NOBODY HAS IT BETTER THAN US!!!!

A tremendous loss afaic, the best-ever at anything doesn't come along very often. I don't blame him one bit given the sorry state of affairs the game is in but I sure hate to see it.

will be interesting to see who is on the Bama short list. 3 or 4 years ago it would have probably been a slam dunk for Dabo to go home.

Jimbo. There was no future job offset in his A&M contract, so he could be the first $20 million per year coach

Would have to think Dabo and Sark would be on the very short list. Kiffin at Alabama would be fun for college football, in general.

Was looking at an article about recent legendary NCAA basketball coach retirements and UNC (twice), Duke, and Syracuse all went with current staff members. Indiana did after Knight retired, too.

When Bear Bryant retired, Bama hired Ray Perkins away from the New York Giants coming off of a losing season and overall losing record. FSU went with Jimbo Fisher, who had never been a head coach, but was already on staff as their OC and coach-in-waiting. Should be a really fun chain reaction.

Lanning, Dabo, and Kiffie are the three most popular names I've seen in the initial rush.

I only think Lanning is a legit possibility there (the Dabo buyout probably makes that a non-starter)

Jimbo offering to coach for minimum wage to max pay players and staff just to fuck with A&M would be peak college football.

No question about it.

I don't care who gets the job. Alabama is a lesser program without Nick Saban.

On the other hand, it will fun to get a good look of the pressures/expectations of the Crimson Tide fan base again. I would look up the Alabama coaching careers of Gene Stallings and Bill Curry if you forgot how good head coaches are treated in Tuscaloosa compared to how a great one has been treated over the last 17 years.

No buyout is going to get in their way if they want the coach. The interesting thing about Kiffin is he probably has a better roster than Alabama does going into next year. He has a cake schedule as well. I can't see him saying no if they ask, but he will have to think about it.

Penn State fans are saying they are willing to pay James Franklin's buyout if Bama would take him.
