Damnit, PF! I was just thinking you were likely bad, since you kept your Speaker vote on you rather than voting with the rest of your Party.

Just got on. Sorry to miss the deadine. I would have opposed the Bills Be Gone Bill so that we would retain a legislative way to replace the Seer/BG/Dr if/when they get offed.
I would have supported the CARP. |

Just three years ago, PackerFanatic was the darling of the Democrat Party, serving as their Presidential candidate. Just last term (and up to this very moment, in interim), PackerFanatic was the Speaker of the House.
Congress moved on from PF faster than the Packers moved on from Favre (sorry, PF). "You have all made a terrible mistake," PackerFanatic said gravely. "The scourge of the wolf does not end today. Look into yourselves, and you will find the real wolves. May you have better luck looking there than you did looking at me." He is escorted from the floor of Congress. PACKERFANATIC WAS A REGULAR DEMOCRAT WITH NO ROLE. Chubby will take over control of PackerFanatic's original 12th District. mccollins takes over the 13th District, formerly under PF's control. mccollins is now the first Congressman with influence over three districts. In other news, Render replaces the departed PackerFanatic as the new Speaker of the House. SARPS passes, and CARP is still awaiting quorum, but seems on its way to passing. SARPS includes an anti-BG wolf rider. This means little, though, because BILL BE GONE BILL has met quorum and passes. While President illinifan999 may veto BBGB and instead just sign SARPS, if he elects to sign the BBGB, all bills will remain as is, and roles stay as is, in addition to one wolf rider, to be selected by the wolves by the morning deadline. CARP remains an active item on the calendar, and may continue to be voted on.

Sorry, Pass, five different votes is hard to follow, starting from scratch as I was. And that doesn't even mention the double votes.

Missed a PM while I was tallying. The anti-BG rider is now attached to the BBGB. SARPS is wolf rider free.
Someone mentioned no double votes on the BBGB. That was by design. Since it is more of a game bill, and not a political bill, I decided everyone's votes should count the same.

So we have a doctor, bodyguard, and seer role for our side with very little prospects of adding anything to help.
The wolves have brutal, cunning, and what I'm guessing will be an anti-BG role if I sign the BBG since that's what they seem to want on the other bill. Are we sure we can't come up with anything that could help us, especially since the wolves don't have a particularly powerful rider left?

No, we're NOT sure! We can vote on the CARP, getting rid of the brutal wolf clause. AND, if we want to get fancy, we can repeal the bill with the cunning clause on it. We'd lose the BG for a day, though. |

Not sure I understand. There is only ever one rider on a bill. And if you're asking if it's extra to the one on SARPS, well, that post of mine you quoted states that SARPS is rider free. The wolves switched the anti-BG rider to the BBGB.

Shoot, I was in a rush and late for dinner plans when I wrote that. Yes, Render should be Speaker of the House. Consider the change made.

In case you didn't read a couple posts above, I made an accounting error. Render is actually the one elected to become the new Speaker of the House.
I have edited the deadlinbe post as well.

A Presidential election is nearly upon us, so what is going on in Washington? Scandal, of course!
Early one fine day, Rep. Render-R was found with either a live boy or a dead girl. No one knows for sure which except Render and the Wolf Party who blackmailed him. Render, just elected the new Speaker of the House, publically resigned over his private shame, much to the delight of speculative tabloid rags around the world. RENDER WAS A NORMAL REPUBLICAN WITH NO ROLE. President illinifan999, now finishing up his term as the leader of the country, inherits control of Render's 8th District. The other bit of shocking news is that neither party has selected a Presidential candidate for next year's party. One anonymous partisan source said, "It's a game of chicken. They want to announce last to get the last word, and so do we. Well, they ain't getting away with it. We can play chicken with the best of them." The lack of urgency on the part of the parties has resulted in Chief Justice Chief Rum considering a bid for the Presidency. "I am hungry for power," he said when asked why he would do so. Another anonymous political analyst said that would be a mistake for both parties and for America. "That Chief Rum, he can be a real dictat-uh, sometimes," the analyst said. In other news, Pres. illinifan999 signed the SARPS bill and used his first (and last) veto on the Bills Be Gone bill. SARPS goes forward to the Supreme Court, while the BBGB returns to Congress, where some government insiders hint that Congress may consider attempting to overturn the veto. The Supreme Court, which has been very active recently, surprisngly stayed silent on the SARPS bill, and the bill has now become law. DAY SIX HAS NOW BEGUN. TONIGHT IS THE PRESIDENTIAL ELECTION, AND EACH PARTY MUST STILL SUBMIT A ORESIDENTIAL CANDIDATE. IT IS ALSO CONGRESSIONAL ELECTION NIGHT, TOO. DEADLINE 9 P.M. EST/6 P.M. PDT.

Well gents, I've got good news and bad news.
The good news is, I've found us a 2nd wolf. Rather than try and play this all cute, I'll just come out with it. I'm the Seer. PurdueBrad is a wolf. The bad news is, the rest of my scans don't offer a ton. My general tact was to just scan my own party and as such though, it's presumed that the Repubs are clear anyhow. For the record I've scanned Cronin (same night he died, ugh), Tyrith and Render (ugh) before this. So there you have it. |

Furthermore, I would presume the BG is all clear and good to protect me tonight. So I can get another scan in.
Two ways to play it 1. I can just scan collins 2. I can scan elsewhere on the assumption that collins is likely a wolf anyhow (I just can't fathom that the path kill wasn't designed with a district benefit for the wolves, unless Path was giving off Seer vibe in the Dem thread that I couldn't see). Frankly, if I scan elsewhere, methinks Lathum would be a good place to start. |

Right -- I'm thinking that if PB comes up good, we'll know heinz is lying, so we can vote for him even if he's President. So not much reason for him to make a play for the Presidency here if he's a wolf, but a ton that we can gain if he's really the seer. |

I'd like to recommend we all wait to hear from PB first. Vote change penalty. Plus, I *really* don't want a bandwagon yet. We have to look at the idea that if heinz is lying here, this is a play to end the game this night.

What can I say, bad timing. If I had found him sooner, I'd have come out sooner. Was I supposed to wait? Furthermore, wouldn't I have to be pretty friggin idiotic for me to make mention of the wolf win conditions then kill an adjacent district to myself, if I were a wolf? I'd win some sort of Darwin award for that, no doubt. More likely, the wolves knew that my bringing it forth and it aiding in a bad lynch makes me look terrible. Additionally, with my not being a powerful politician the wolves are one illini death from getting at least two districts headed to PB, the most popular Repub member. If people don't believe me, fine. I'll let them go ahead and lynch the Seer and feel like douchebags. Or we can wait for a counter-reveal which will either never come or will be false (I can't imagine your 4th wolf buddy would want to out himself so overtly). |

I'm open to any questions, but like I said, I haven't had a lot of success in scans here today. You'll see I dropped repeated hints throughout yesterday (continually mentioning I trust Tyrith and Render, when really I had no evidence to do so) and the day before (I repeatedly mentioned that I trusted Tyrith, again without actual cause to)

Since I'm online I'll bite. You have pinged a LOT of people as a wolf this game, in the Dem thread at the very least. As Pass said, how do we know this isn't an endgame play? Come out 1st, early in the morning to gain the trust real quick and downplay any other seer reveals as "obviously fake". It's convienent that two of your "scans" are dead and one you claim is wolf. The other? One that seems to have a lot of trust (tho not based on anything) |

FWIW, heinz brought up the whole "district" thing in the Republican thread. PB asked a question about the rules -- he wanted to know if the Democrats would win by killing the Republicans off, regardless of wolf killing. Heinz went to quote the win conditions in the rules when he made his "discovery" -- I was worried about that (as chesapeake can attest to), but the way heinz mentioned it in the Republican thread seemed pretty natural to me. |

Was there any reason you scanned PB instead of mccollins since that was the other person there was a huge wolf vote on?
