At least there's no indication she claimed "I don't know how it got there".

That'd make this next level disturbing.

Huh. Interesting one. Because of my years in close proximity to some high school football programs, my social media friend universe contains maybe a couple dozen high school and college coaches. At some point, just about every one of them has posted generic advice to young athletes about how their social media feed could cost them a scholarship and/or a job offer, and sometimes they use screen shots as example. I'm guessing that I see these sorts of "PSAs" once or twice a month. As a result, I probably have a bit of an inherent "she should have known better" bias that may not be fair in all cases. That said, if the potential employer asks you to follow their IG feed, shouldn't that be a least a yellow flag that they want you to make it easy for them to check out your online presence?

FWIW, a high enough percentage of my former YL kids use "altered" versions of their names on both FB and IG that I can only assume that it's a fairly well-known best practice to do so. This is the group that was in high school or college when FB first came out, and only high school kids, college kids, and people they invited had access to it. As a result, many of their feeds from back then are rampant with pics of drinking and/or weed smoking, profane rants, etc. I'm sure that if they don't want to delete their accounts, rather than trying to scrub stuff from 2005, it's just easier to change their names so that no potential employer can see that stuff. Examples: 31-year-old with initials of "T.M." now goes by "Taylor Made" on both FB and IG. Late-20s lawyer now goes by his first and middle names, last name nowhere to be found on social media. Even a certain former UT and Tucker High tailback who infamously shunned UGA because "UT plays for National Championships and Georgia goes to the Peach Bowl"--and then proceeded to play in and *lose* two Peach Bowls at UT--now uses a fake name despite his mug being easily recognizable to any serious SEC fan. In every single one of these cases I've seen, the person used to use their first and last name, but changed it, so it seems fairly clear that it's to avoid this sort of thing.

Three judges suspended for drunken 3 AM fight at White Castle — that ended with two shot

Quote:
“The judges traveled to Indianapolis April 30 to attend a judicial conference the next day. Around 3 a.m. May 1, the judges, along with another magistrate who was not involved in the fight, tried to enter the Red Garter Gentleman’s Club in Downtown, but it was closed,” The Star noted. “They went to the nearby White Castle at 55 W. South St. instead.”

Things then escalated rapidly.

“Adams, Jacobs and Bell were standing outside the restaurant when Alfredo Vazquez and Brandon Kaiser drove past the trio in a blue SUV. According to charging documents from the Indiana Commission on Judicial Qualifications, either Kaiser or Vazquez yelled something out the window that prompted Bell to give the middle finger to the men,” the newspaper reported.

According to the opinion, the three judges then, “joined in a profane verbal altercation that quickly turned into physical violence and ended in gunfire, and in doing so, gravely undermined public trust in the dignity and decency of Indiana’s judiciary.”

I know you never expect the comedian you're watching to die on stage, but, I'm not sure I'd think that falling over unconscious was "part of the show", as the audience did in all three cases.

Tom Hanks Learns He's a Distant Relative of Fred Rogers | PEOPLE.com
Quote:
Won’t you be my relative?

Through research conducted by Ancestry, a genealogy service that charts users’ lineage via its database of more than 20 billion public records, Tom Hanks was shocked to learn that he is, in fact, sixth cousins with the late Fred Rogers.

Access Hollywood surprised Hanks, 63, with the results at a New York City screening of the star’s upcoming film A Beautiful Day in the Neighborhood, a drama in which Hanks steps into Rogers’ iconic sweater to embody the gentle children’s TV host.

“No, impossible … you’re pulling our leg,” the actor’s wife, Rita Wilson, said upon hearing the news, scanning a family tree diagram.

“Listen,” said Hanks, harping on the significance of the revelation, “it all just comes together, you see.”

A horde of large, fat worms descended upon a central California beach, spooked out of their burrows by a bomb cyclone.

Wildlife enthusiast David Ford captured the foreboding scene, which looks as though a plane full of frankfurters flung open the hatch and let the dogs rain down upon the unassuming shore.
