Always love beating up on UCLA!
I can't wait to play but probably won't be able to get my game in until Monday. |

We delivered on our goal of demolishing UCLA. Even better yet, we did it in front of a lot of recruits. A few highlights:
Star S Dennis had 2 interceptions along with 7 tackles, 2 for a loss. Our DL had 7 sacks including 3 from Jake Smith. LB Trevor Alfred had 5 tackles for a loss. Our defense dominated and pitched a shutout in the 1st half. Gilmore completed over 80% of his passes for 425 yards with 4 TD's and 0 INT. He also ran it for 99 yards and 4 more TD's. Starting HB Hoffman had 200 yards rushing and a TD. Steward had 163 yards receiving and 2 TD's. Galloway with over 100 yards and a TD. 4 receivers with a TD as our backup QB also threw 1 TD on his only pass of the game. Huge win for the recruits. Hopefully, will get some commits after the game. |

I'm gonna try and play Nebraska tonight, but might have to push it to tomorrow morning. Gonna be gentle with the power brick.

That's okay. That kind of stuff happens. Maybe Tuesday or Wednesday? I'd like to watch the Colts game on Monday night, which I think you mentioned as a possibility before.

Put down Nebraska 70-20. They scored nearly all their points off fumble recoveries. Stupid snow.

GG last night Kodos.
I wasn't in a good mood while we were playing and I think it affected my attention to the game. With that said, you are the only one I have yet to figure out, granted EF27 beats me, I can take him to the wire...you, you just work me over. The sad thing, I had a house full of recruits for that debacle last night.

GG, Macro. Yeah, I don't know what it is. My RBs were just breaking tackles and getting into the secondary with regularity, and your receivers had a case of the drops.
I went from getting my butt whooped by EF to consistently having close contests, so things can change. Our roster is rated quite a bit higher than yours too, so that was part of it. Last edited by Kodos : 09-25-2015 at 12:58 PM. |

We used a powerful second half to put away Mizzou. One of our more effective days passing the ball, not quite as effective on the ground.. But we're playing with a lesser line than last season so I think that's a big part of it.
We have our sights set on the conference championship game, hoping for a rematch with FAU.. The fire burns bright.

We got 4 commits this week including 5 star athlete James Johnson who could be an electric QB or WR for us depending upon who leaves early and how the rest of our class shapes up. Also very excited about 4 star T Andy Parker and the two 4 star athletes we signed (who will likely end up at CB but 1 could play HB for us if needed.)
Now, it is time to play Washington. |

Washington's QB ran the ball very well and kept the ball away from us in the first half, but we still managed to take a 35-13 halftime lead with some explosive plays in which our QB only had 2 incompletions in the first half (both drops.) Gilmore continued his outstanding play in the 2nd half and we cruised to a 70-16 win over Washington. Gilmore with over 400 yards passing and 100 yards rushing in the win. The only bad thing was Jimmy Stewart got banged up and didn't have a big day, so he will probably drop off the Heisman watch lists.

Finished my game, I lost my game against Ohio State / 54-52, my starting QB went out with a concussion in the 1st qtr. We were down by 21 going into the 4th, and we managed to storm back to bring it within 2.

We took some frustrations from today's real IU game out on Ohio State. We whipped them 55-24 to secure a rematch with USC in the Big Ten championship game.

I took my frustration with USC's real life season out in the game... played our sharpest game of the year. Our defense smothered Oregon. Our special teams produced a punt return for a TD (by Stewart of course.) Our offense was truly spectacular. We cruised to a 112-0 win over Oregon. Gilmore threw for just under 500 yards and ran for over 100 more in the win.

We took down Wisconsin, but it was another game our backup had to win for us. he played a lot better than he did last week.
I made some changes on the playbook and focused on a balanced attack. We won without our starting QB or starting RB against a tough Wisconsin team.

Spanked Texas 73-14. Jim Fry, recruited as a punter, has a good shot at 1000 yards rushing this season. He had 12 carries for 100 yards and 2 scores this week. I'm pretty amazed at his growth over the years since coming to the team.
Now we wait. In 2 weeks, a rematch we have wanted so bad we can taste it will be ours. With a win, we can potentially get another shot at the National Championship. All we want at this point is sweet, sweet revenge. The calendar is marked, the players are spending the next 2 weeks studying our opponent. Looking forward to it, CU Tiger.

Something goofy is going on with my file.
1- In recruiting I have 9 guys I am allocating 700 points each to. It says I have used 5,800 points. I removed all points and it says I have used -500 points. So I decided to sue the honor sytsem and just use 6,000 points and let the other 500 "sit." Load my game and....craziness happens. My playbook is nothing but goal line formations. And when I go on D my D huddles up in a bunch and wont chase the ball. WTF. Tried rebooting etc and no joy. is there a way to re wdownload the file and start voer? |

Did it.
It allowed me to play my game against Duke, which we won. Barely. But the recruiting point issue remains. I just dumped all remaining points into a player I'm 6,000 back on with no interest in. |

USC against lowly 3-8 Boise State. Blowout, right? Not so fast my friend! We were cruising to that big blowout with a 21-7 lead early, but then Gilmore got smacked hard and had to leave the game with a concussion. Will that cost him the Heisman? Davis came in and promptly threw a pick to a defender that he didn't even see (the blue turf and blue uniforms are challenging!) With 3 turnovers in the half, Davis ended multiple drives and we were only up 28-21 at the half. Davis had another turnover in the 3rd to set up another TD. 28-28 and their QB was throwing for a lot of yards but also turning it over a lot. Davis finally stopped turning it over in the 2nd half and we did cruise to a 56-28 win, but that was much more tense than I thought it would be until about early in the 4th.
Despite the 4 turnovers, Davis won player of the game with 300 plus yards passing and 100 yards rushing. Every team is set to advance!
