That white car drove straight into that. 2 car crash on the apron. That looked like a purpose shot. Criminal charges filed?

Lew took quite a tumble in the 66. And where's David Ginsberg's spotter on that high-speed T-bone?

Race #10 of 15 - Mountain Dew 300 Results
The final race before the playoffs is always a battle as drivers do everything they can to make it to the playoffs. Today it was Blue Neckansack doing everything he could to try and win the race and get himself a spot in the playoffs. He led 132 laps on the day and looked to be heading towards victory lane and the playoffs, but then, pit strategy ruined his day. He and a few other drivers got off sequence with pit stops and then a caution flew trapping Neckansack a lap down before stops cycled through. He would never recover and finish 8th. After that, another driver who needed a great run to make the playoffs, Hawk Grey took the lead. Hawk led 52 laps before again, pit strategy was the deciding factor. With 11 to go, Hawk had to put and give up the lead to Bo Duke, who unlike everyone else, was able to stretch his fuel and not need a final pit stop. Duke would take the win, Hawk would finish 3rd and end up missing the playoffs by only 4 points. David Ginsberg was 2nd, Grey 3rd, Lew Sifford 4th and Rob Nielsen 5th.

Standings after Race #10 of 15
The playoffs are set. Rob Nielsen is once again the points leader heading into the playoffs, can he make it two in a row? Benton Gale finished 2nd after the first 10, Bo Duke is 3rd, Helen Wheels 4th and Al Cohallik 5th. In 6th we have the #38 Goodyear car of Wheely McStephens. 7th and 8th belong to Hana and David Ginsberg. 9th is Stroker Ace and in 10th place grabbing the final automatic qualifying position is Rex D'Car. Comrade Path and Jace Hunter are our two wild card drivers.
Just missing out this season are Hawk Grey, who finished 11th, 4 points back of D'Car. Cannon Pace was 12th only 6 back, Indy Wahl was 13th, 9 back. |

What a depressing day for the #99 team. We went in there in a playoff position and just blew it. Back to the drawing board for Season 3.

Bo Danville closing out with a top 5 (better than Stroker has all season) and a top 10 to emphatically get out of the relegation zone. Stroker couldn't get to the top of the field, but steady racing gets him into the playoffs once again.

Sweet! Just like last year we closed out the regular season with a win. I wonder what I need to do to kickstart Luke? Bo is in a great spot and our first multi win season as well!

Race #11 of 15 - QuikTrip 500 Results
Atlanta, GA - Welcome to the Atlanta Motor Speedway, site of race #11 in Season 2 of the FOFC Sprint Cup Series. More importantly, however, it is race #1 in the Sprint Cup Series Playoffs. Rob Nielsen is on a mission to win title #2, who will step up and stop him? Four other drivers, Bo Duke, David Ginsberg, Stroker Ace and Wheely McStephens are making their second straight appearance in the playoffs as well.
On the pole for today's QuikTrip 500 was Hawk Grey, who narrowly missed out on the final playoff spot. Our playoff contenders are starting in these positions. 4th Hana Ginsberg 6th Rob Nielsen 10th Wheely McStephens 11th Stroker Ace 12th Benton Gale 17th Comrade Path 20th Helen Wheels 21st Al Cohallik 25th Bo Duke 31st Rex D'Car 36th Jace Hunter 37th David Ginsberg Polesitter Hawk Grey led the race's first four laps before being passed by the #96 of Blue Neckansack who would go on to lead the next 16. At that point, Patrick Hutt took over the lead, and would go on to lead 257 of the next 305 laps. An absolutely dominating performance. The only time he would lose the lead after that point was during green flag pit stops. Hutt's car seemed completely unstoppable, until the final run of the day when Bo Duke began to make a run at the lead. Duke was never able to pass Hutt and finished 2nd, 0.4 seconds back. Hutt picked up his 4th career victory and 1st of this season. Dexter Jackson Sr. came in 3rd, Avery Thomas picked up his 1st career top 10 with a 4th. David Ginsberg was 5th. Benton Gale was 6th, Hana Ginsberg 7th, Wheely McStephens 9th, Helen Wheels 15th, Al Cohallik 17th, Rob Nielsen 19th, Rex D'Car 21st, Comrade Path 22nd, Stroker Ace 25th, Jace Hunter 29th. Race #12 of 15 - Food City 500 Results
Today was not a great for playoff contenders. Four playoffs contenders, Rex D'Car, Rob Nielsen, Jace Hunter and Comrade Path all failed to finish the race after accidents and finished 36th, 38th, 41st and 42nd. Bo Duke was the only title contender to finish in the top 10 as he finished 10th and will have a great points day as a result of all the other poor finishes.
Early on in the race, Rex D'Car, who later wound up in a crash, led 127 laps after starting 3rd. He would give up the lead and Hawk Grey and Wallace Bryant would battle near the front for the middle portions of the race. Bryant would be involved in a later accident and finish 25th leaving Hawk was the driver to beat. Hawk led 246 laps on the day and took the victory. His second career win. |

Only three races remain and Bo Duke holds a 13 point lead over Benton Gale. Hana Ginsberg sits in 3rd, 22 back, 4th is David Ginsberg who is 31 back and Helen Wheels is 5th, 32 points back.
The race to not be a part of the bottom is starting to heat up as well. Ricky Anderson Jr. sits 42nd and looks to have a very slim chance of clawing his way out of the bottom 5. Looks like he may be a Truck series driver next year. Billy Bushinhimer, Magnus Nielsen, Ginny Tonic and Dicky Woodhouse are the other 4 looking to get to 37th place. |

I guess it might not end up being too bad if Dexter Jackson Jr. can win the Truck Series championship and move up and take Ricky's place in the cup series. What a poor season for Ricky and Dexter Sr. though.

Great to see Hawk get the win. Unfortunately, both his wins have come in the playoff season when he is not in the playoffs. Need to get some of those wins in the regular season.
Good stuff, though. The TJ #11 was fun to watch in that race.

Race #13 of 15 - Old Spice 300 Results
The Cup drivers headed to Old Spice Speedway today for the first ever race at the 1.54 mile road course.
On the pole for the race today was Aaron Kappe. Aaron led the race's first 28 laps before losing the lead to Magnus Nielsen. Nielsen would go on to dominate the race. At one point Magnus held a 18 second lead over second place. This, however, would all change when the caution flag flew for an accident involving Ricky Anderson Jr, Cannon Pace and Aaron Kappe with 21 laps remaining. Magnus' crew had a poor pit stop and he ended up coming out of the pits behind both Helen Wheels and Bo Danville. Nielsen would make the pass on Danville but couldn't manage to make the pass on Wheels as Helen picked up the victory, a huge victory for her as she races for the title. Rex D'Car was the next playoff contender in 8th, Benton Gale finished 10th, Rob Nielsen was 12th. David Ginsberg finished 20th and Hana Ginsberg ended up 21st. In 22nd was Jace Hunter, Wheely McStephens finished 26th, Bo Duke 28th, Al Cohallik 36th, Comrade Path 37th and Stroker Ace 38th. Last edited by cmp : 06-17-2015 at 03:47 PM. |

With only two races remaining, Benton Gale is your new points leader by 5 points over Bo Duke and 6 over Helen Wheels. Hana Ginsberg sits in 4th place, 20 points back and David Ginsberg and Rob Nielsen are tied for 5th, 28 back.
Down at the other end of the standings, Ricky Anderson Jr. sits last, 56 points from getting out of the demotion spots. He is almost guaranteed to be in the truck series at this point. |

Race #14 of 15 - Bojangles Southern 500 Results
It was a day of carnage at Darlington as 17 drivers failed to finish the race after a few major accidents. Only two of those 17, Hana Ginsberg and Jace Hunter were playoff drivers however.
Polesitter Stroker Ace led the race's first 59 laps before losing the lead and fading to a 20th place finish. After Ace's turn at the front, it was time for Avery Thomas to lead for a bit. Avery led 101 laps in the middle portion of the race before his car faded to a 7th place finish. From there it was all about Al Cohallik. Al dominated the last portion of the race, leading 188 laps and picking up his 2nd victory of the season. Rob Nielsen kept his title hopes alive with a 2nd place finish. Rex D'Car was 3rd followed by Mustafa Henderson and Helen Wheels. Last edited by cmp : 06-18-2015 at 04:05 PM. |

Standings after Race #14 of 15
We are going to have a terrific race for the championship at Homestead. Helen Wheels is the new points leader and holds a 3 point lead over 2nd place Benton Gale and a 5 point lead over Bo Duke. Rob Nielsen sits in 4th place, 19 points back and still has an outside chance at winning a 2nd straight championship. David Ginsberg, Wheely McStephens, Hana Ginsberg, Rex D'Car, and Al Cohallik are all not mathematically eliminated yet but would need miracles to win.
Ricky Anderson Jr's rough season continues as he is now a lock to relegated to the truck series. Kellen Killinger and Billy Bushinhimer will have a hard time getting back out of the bottom 5 as well. Seamus Archer and Dicky Woodhouse will need good races to get out of the bottom 5 while Ginny Tonic, Aaron Kappe, Magnus Nielsen and Dexter Jackson can't have any mishaps or they will find themselves in the bottom. |

Another strong race and T10 finish for Avery Thomas and DD Racing. It seem Chilton and Thomas either run strong or weak...rarely middle road.

If I'd have bet 10 races ago on Helen to be in first heading into the finale, I could be a rich man. But I didn't believe then.
Fast forward to now, and she's T2 in Top-5 finishes and 3rd in laps run. Good finishes and finishing consistently can make a contender out of anyone, I guess. |

Current point standings are: Bo Duke 1188 Helen Wheels 1186 Benton Gale 1164 Rob Nielsen 1163 |
