The main point I was trying to make is that the percentages on that side make me somewhat more leery of trying to avoid the dueling seer question by lynching a democrat like we were talking about earlier because of the risk involved. The wolves already tried to kill KWhit once this game, and that district would have fallen to Lathum. Although that was probably a seer motivated lynch, it's still worth noting. |

Also, it's worth nothing that PB said something "startled" both of us. That doesn't even make sense given the context of how CR flavors up the my PMs (in the times he has the time to).
It's more about digging into financial records and phone transcripts, not like seeing someone do something. |

Yeah, I'd like to hope I get some protection tonight, at least get another scan. I'll of course be scanning a Dem. Though unless it comes back wolf, I'm wary of it, as 1 of the 2 wolves left is the cunning. It's worth noting in that regard that no one I've cleared should be all the way cleared. They could be the cunning. Though personally I"m not inclined to belive in the 3-1 start. |

My sense is that having a speaker tomorrow (should we all make it that far) is better than NOT having a speaker tomorrow. Henry is moderate, at least. |

Ladies and gentlemen...cue the music.
I'm proud to introduce the next President of the FOFC States. He's got seven hundred something posts (I'm too lagged to look it up), he's led the Republican Party through good times and bad, and has been proclaimed as villager-friendly by not one, but TWO seers! Ladies and gentlemen, I present to you, the next President of the FOFC States....Tyrith!! |

Although, I'm still waiting for a response from CR as to whether or not we can vote for a Speaker. He said we can, but we'd lose him when the new congress is elected, and I argued with him on that point a little, since PF stayed on as Speaker after elections.

chesapeake -- the word from CR was that the bill just made it so that the scan couldn't be blocked. The cunning wolf's power was still there -- by the letter of our law, the scan still happens (is not blocked), just that the cunning wolf scans as good. I think that was the day that I had to take off during the afternoon, so I wasn't around to babysit it, but it ended up being a lot like what I envisioned earlier that morning -- a bill that made the seer unblockable, designed to sit on the right side of the spectrum, since blocking is a liberal ploy. I'm not sure how my Party morphed it into an "anti-cunning" bill, but I'm fine with how it turned out (especially since we're at our maximum power anyway).

I guess that was a lot of talk, that didn't answer your question.
No. It sounds like we're at our maximum power now. My hunch is that CR won't allow us to take away the cunning wolf in any way short of repealing the bill -- and we can't afford to lose the BG now. Plus, I think people are getting sick of the bills at this point anyway. |

This, even though PB didn't scan illini either (something you reamed me on) and left zero hints as to being the Seer before today. Additionally, you think, I as the wolf here, just *happened* to fake reveal and catch the real Seer in the process? |

I don't think that randomness and a 2-2 are mutually exclusive. My theory is that CR made it 2 and 2 for fairness but randomly selected the wolves within each party. Therefore, it is just as likely the heinze was one of the 2 republican wolves as PurdueBrad.

Feels like they're going to get it no matter what. If we pass any bill (even a repeal of a bill), they'll attach a rider to it. If it's vetoed, everyone (or at least the party in power) will take a popularity hit. |

Chubby is either a severly misguided villager or a wolf. At first I thought he was just lost, now I'm starting to think he's a democratic wolf.

1. Well he scanned Pass, Tyrith, RendeR and myself. Well he didn't since he's not the Seer, but that's who he claims. If that's not going after the Repub party, what is? 2. Wait wait wait. You give me a classless dig about leaving earlier, to go get work, and now I'm on too much for you? HUH? For your sake man, I'm *really* hoping you're not a wolf. If you are, I'd be so very upset at you if I was a wolf with you. Your doggedness of this, even in the face of some *startling* facts is amazing. |

I don't think PB ever said it was his strategy which you claimed. I have no idea what went on in the repub thread to know why he made the decisions that he did. You'd have to ask him. you certainly aren't too much for me wolfy, but you keep trying to argue with me like you are going to change my opinion... you aren't. what startling facts? that because you fake revealed 1st you MUST be the seer? |

I'm not sure I understand - I was agreeing with Henry that it was far more likely that it was 2 random wolves per party. To be clear, I think the 3-1 wolves idea is dumb. |

Maybe he didn't call it his strategy, but c'mon man. He "scanned" 4 repubs. Named strategy or not, it's pretty clear what he is claiming he was doing there. As far as changing your opinion, I could care less. I think most people are accurately siding with me anyhow. and the facts are, in my mind - That PB didn't drop a *single* hint that he was Seer up to today. Not one. Some seer he'd be for the village - That he said something "startled" us, which is baseless as the Seer storyline (and common sense) would show that actual interactions between the Seer and the Scannee aren't even in play (it has to do with checking phone records and $$ accounts and such) - That for this to be a fake reveal I'm doing, not only would it have to have been planned literally for multiple days before this, but that it'd almost certainly have to mean a 3-1 split in wolves and I would've had to have just *happened* to be fake revealing and naming the true Seer as a wolf (which begs the question that if I knew he was Seer, why not just night kill him). But hey man, it's your funeral. |
