I'm thinking and that has lead to two things. Some pointless conjecture, that I'll share, and a review of the voting records. Just in case we do get to vote someone out of the camp again.
Pointless conjecture first; With the seeming lack of "night kills", I'm wondering if there is a relatively small wolf contingent that needs to swell its ranks through conversion. Say starting with two wolves, and lots of potential for conversions. It seems that the other alternative would be that there is a more typical number of wolves and their night actions are more restricted than typically expected. We've gotten three out of five "camps" in the bag, and need five more to win. I can't imagine that we're ahead at this point, and we have a helluva long way to go. ----- Ok now my vote record review. Only two non-cleared folks were on PB: Could all of the wolves have been on Dubb? That would seem to be unlikely, and that puts NTN and Daddy Torgo on the list for consideration. NTNay 5 voted PB when it was pretty close, and realistically only a two man race. He also produced the magic beans today. DT: Votes late, and breaks a tie...moving to PB and away from a villager. Plus it appears, he may have had something to do with the explosion tonight. I don't find either of the two of them particularly attractive as sympathizers. Danny: Well he moved his vote all over the place, and looked for a tie. Now was he saving PB or moving for nolynch? If he was saving PB, that would seem to be sort of "end game" desperation. Maybe that means that there were only a couple of wolves active at that time? Or perhaps all of the wolves really were on Dubb, and he was flip flopping around just looking for a safe place to land or to force a no lynch. The other non-cleared suspects in addition to Danny, NTN, and DT are: Glengoyne, PB, USFL, and Clap |

I was moving for a Dubb lynch actually. I knew BK had the tiebreaker and there would be lynch. I feel fine about my decision and if Dubb had turned out to be a wolf we would have learned a lot by my vote craziness. Obviously, it was all a waste as Dubb was good, but I feel fine with my actions. |

Also Glen, be careful with considering everyone 100% cleared. People like Lathum, CR and EF should be given more trust than say me right now, but with a possible cunning wolf and bribes, they aren't 100% cleared.

I'm probably on the top of the suspect list which is fine. I think in the end we're going to need to get the win by converting camps or the end game event. With the ability to convert, it's going to very difficult to win by voting off all of the wolves. This is evidenced by the huge trust list we have. it's going to be very easy for the wolves to use that to their advantage. At the same time, we can't lynch someone who is cleared over those who are not either. Because of this, I am sure it's only a matter of time before I am lynched.

Just wait until my game where people are lynched based on how many votes they have, with the twist that each player can vote as many times as they post it. I should be able to break 10k!

Peace settles on the labor fields of WV as war heats up in Europe and both the companies and the miners are told in no uncertain terms by the federal government to play nice until the crisis, which will eventually lead to war, is through. The labor peace lasts almost the rest of the decade.

Absolutely! Unfortunately it seems that nobody has anymore dynamite, so it seems like it must have been a one-off thing, as I haven't found anymore. That's why i wanted to go searching on that mission the other day - thought i might find some.

I still think the whole thing rubs me the wrong way. The nail in dubb's coffin then the clear "let's set up the next villager" post which was just averted by a surprise choice of Norm to scan me. The combo ain't lookin' good. But well, we aren't lynching anyone either way so who cares at this point. |

My vote only looks bad if PB is bad. I'd be an idiot wolf to put that spotlight on me in a villager/villager run off. I'd actually be stupid as a wolf too where I could have easily made Dubb the clear lynch candidate earlier in the day.

I'd say Me and USFL are too high on that list. With the explosion DT certainly gets a little bit of a bump, but all of the way to the third tier might be a stretch. On BK and Norm. Are they immune to conversion? I know I've asked, and I think I'm up to date on the thread, but there is always the chance that I've missed key content actually intended for me. |

I'd agree on your top paragraph. To speculate on the 2nd bit, I'd think they are. But realistically I can't see where it makes much sense to go for either one of them before the group of uncleareds. Realistically, the Norm issue would sort itself out tonight I'd think (no BG to stave off his death) |

I know the answer to this, but haven't answered. Here's why: 1. I am immune to bribes: If this is the case I want them to try and bribe me. It's going to fail and perhaps I find out who they are. 2. I am not immune to bribes: I don't want them to bribe me. I want them to think instead I am immune. I think, at this point in the game, the ambiguity serves us better than an answer. |

I agree - I'd rather BK and Norm didn't reveal the answer to that question.

Allright,
I actually didn't consider that my question was specific to this game. I was actually wondering if that was a typical WW mechanic, as when folks were talking conversion, those two(BK and Norm) were not included. I fully agree with allowing that mystery to remain unknown. |

This is very disappointing. I thought that Dubb had moved to the top of your list after his shoddy treatment of you in Sparta. I have zero chance of having my wife help me in one of these games - she would more likely vote for me in order to get me off the computer - so I certainly hope this game concept never comes to fruition |

I almost posted to work food distribution for the heck of it at the moment, just to see what kind of meltdown it caused, but I guess I will forego my own selfish desire for entertainment and do this as a place holder (pending it being needed elsewhere).
(for the record I would have moved to a legit spot later but figured tonight would end up being the night that I get pulled into RL issues and not getting back in time, in that case I would have been leading the charge to vote me out tomorrow if that cost us) work treasury |
