FSU players crapping the bed in the past 2 minutes. I understand Akers is great, but he's just back and to give Michel only 1 carry? Dumb. As dumb as how much the Titans relied on Henry yesterday.

It must really suck to be a Detroit Lions fan right now. Or really, the last several decades.

It will be sad if this is the last Brady sighting, though. Being a Michigan guy, I've very much enjoyed his success.

It's amazing that Stafford can suddenly win big games. I guess he learned how to be a "winner" and it just randomly coincided with him getting traded to a much more talented team.

Thank you for drawing that game out so we only have to wait 5 minutes for the next game.

Matthew Stafford made a huge play in a playoff game. Is that a sign of the end of times?

Had they won, the Rams playing not to lose and the Buccs defense playing to get them back into the game would be ignored. All credit would have gone to Brady like most of his career.

The Stafford thing is just weird to me. As a long-suffering Lions fan (aka the only kind there is) he's done about what I expected this year. I.e., benefited from being on a better team in a better organization, been inconsistent and done boneheaded things at times but overall been a good quarterback. I never heard a lot of 'he's not a winner' stuff when he was at Detroit. There was some 'he's not worth what they're paying him', with the stipulation that any QB paid at that level should be in the Super Bowl which never made any sense, but otherwhise he was considered quite good but not great. I think that's still what he is. He's always been tough & gutsy which is what I like most about him, he's done the game-winning thing many times before, and their playoff losses were all understandable given who they played while he was in Detroit. It was always dumb to blame Stafford for them when the team, even in their playoff years, had so many other flaws. As in, there wasn't much beyond 'Stafford throw it up to Megatron' most of the time.

What you wrote seems reasonable. Unfortunately, this is an example of what someone like me sees when it comes to folks from Detroit talking about Matthew Stafford.

NOTE: I don't know which was the majority opinion when it comes to Stafford.

Yours or the writer's

Man longest 2 minutes ever, went to brush my teeth after the Chiefs scored, figured not much was going to happen, imagine my surprise when it wasn't halftime yet and the Bills were scoring...and then the Chiefs were going for a FG. Crazy finish to the half.

Fan reactions are always funny. I am guilty of this too.

TB fans calling for Bowles to be fired. This is the DC who called all of the plays that helped get them back into the game. You want the guy fired because of one call that didn't work out? If it had worked out, you'd love him for it.

Winning championships in the NFL is hard. That's just the way it is.

"Stafford now has more playoff wins in the last eight days (two) than the Detroit Lions have in the entire Super Bowl era (one)."

Yep. And yet until recently, we didn't have the longest streak without a playoff win. Cincinatti just bumped us down to last in that metric too.
