I just mean the creative in the ads, nothing Taylor related meant.

KC has plenty of time to get a TD.

Why is there a clock if everyone has to have a possession and there can't be a tie?

from what I read
15 min periods, 3 timeouts per every two periods. Includes a 2 minute warning stoppage near the end of the 2nd overtime

Need to be more aggressive against KC. Twice they settled for FGs and the second time it cost them the game.

He was completely outcoached in the second half and credit Reid again for exploiting a defensive tendency when San Francisco would swap sides to play match up with the TE's/slots and get out leveraged.

Andy Reid is the guy everyone thinks Shanahan is or wants him to be. The offensive gameplan in overtime with the game on the line was… chefs kiss. After struggling all game and then adjusting and pulling out that drive in OT, just really impressive and of course he has the perfect QB to pull it off as well.

Maybe it’s a sign of great coaching or a great team, but it’s incredible to me the Chiefs have now played the two biggest games of the season against teams and managed to take them completely out of their gameplan. Last week making the Ravens turn Lamar into a pocket passer has been discussed to death, but it felt like the Niners finally had what they wanted with the running game late on to ice it and decided to drop Purdy with the game on the line and run for his life because reasons?

Steve Spagnuolo won is fourth Super Bowl ring. That's the most of any coordinator. As much as the attention is on the offense, it was his defense that carried that team in the playoffs.

I think there's a very good chance Travis will retire. Didn't he flirt with retirement last off-season?

It came out soon after that draft that the Saints had Mahomes and Lattimore (who they ended up drafting) as the top two on their board, and if KC hadn't traded up, they would have had to choose.

That has since been retconned into the Saints were 100% going to draft Mahomes if KC hadn't traded up.

And I'm even now hearing people saying that there were people in the Saints warroom arguing to trade up to grab Mahomes once he fell out of the top five.

I suspect the truth is closer to the original reports, which was that it actually wasn't a lock that they would pick him even if he fell, but it was at least on the table.

You mean in the 2nd through 4th quarters on first, second and third downs, trying to actually move the chains?

I mean, the 50+ field goals were both gutsy moves, as was that 4th quarter 4th and 3 play in the red zone that would have put them 4 points up, if not for the blocked PAT.

Settling for the FG at the end of regulation almost cost them the game. Doing that again in OT was a mistake. You have to score TDs or leave KC with too little time to score. You can't assume you'll stop Mahomes from scoring.

don't ruin a good Chiefs hating for me. All i remember at the time was how the draft 'experts' were sure the cards were going to take Mahomes with their pick
