Crap. I had an epic game going. My star WR had an 82 yard TD early in the game in which he split two tacklers and took it to the house. He had another 58 yard TD where he broke 2 tackles. He had over 200 yards receiving and 10 catches at the half... then I lost power on my Xbox due to a repairman coming to fix a DirecTV issue and accidently unplugging it. Ugh. I was up 38-31 on SMU in the 3rd when I lost power. I'll restart it once the repairman leaves.

The replay was very similar. No big broken tackle plays but Humphreys again dominated their secondary with several TD catches including one long TD. We win 52-35 over SMU.

An update: I'm at work where there is internet. I've been here for 16 of the last 24 hours and going for 8 more tonight. At home, there is no internet. It is a desolate place, where no sign of man exists to save these eyes from the sight of a solitary future. It is cold there. I have been conversing with a deflated football I found in the closet, trying to maintain my tenuous grasp on these last few threads of sanity. The day is a wild horse, running free through prairies of endless rain, and I am a pair of eyes imprisoned in a husk, hanging lifeless from the branch of a fading memory.
But I can play when the internet comes back.. If it comes back.

That stinks, hope your Internet service is back up soon. Just let me know and we can schedule the game. I will generally be available Monday through Tuesday.
Edit:I can also work a game in on Sunday (today) if that works for you. Last edited by Grammaticus : 10-04-2015 at 08:58 AM. |

Man, I had to leave at 1:45 for a lunch date with the lady and to go pick up my boy from school, so when my game with Gramm went into double OT and was threatening to go to triple OT, I decided to just give it a shot and go for 2 to end it one way or another.. Gramm stuffed my ill advised run play and that was that. In one of the best human vs human games I have ever been a part of, we fell on the road to the Ospreys 45-44. It was a game to remember.
I will be ready for that pass rush next time Gramm. Good game man.

Looking forward to our rivalry game with the hated North Plainfield Plague. We need the win to keep our bowl hopes alive, and a ton of recruits will be on hand. Go Lake Monsters!

8 drops in the snow and no stops on defense killed us and we lost to Frederick. Good thing we have a decent recruiting class coming in.

We took our frustrations out on hapless Maassluis, as we crushed them 62-0 in front of their home crowd during their final game as an American Conference team. Next season, the American will welcome Fairbanks.

Got our game in, we finish at 6-6 after a shoddy effort in the pass game where I threw 4 picks. The defense actually stepped up but I couldn't score enough to pull out a win. Can't wait to finish the recruiting and see how things look for next season. I think we have a really good class coming in for a bunch of 1 and 2 stars.

Vicksburg's option offense could not get going against our defense. We forced a turnover on one of the first plays on an errant pitch and that set the tone. We jumped to a 21-0 lead at the half. However, in the 3rd quarter our starting QB was hit hard and suffered broken ribs. We slowed down the offense after that and focused on eating clock. We won 31-0
Hopefully, Colvin will be back in time for our next game. Everyone is set to advance. |

Conference Championships
The American doesn't have a championship game, so we all have byes. And there's no recruiting this week. Sooooo, on to bowls.

Asheville came to play and we had a huge game on both sides of the ball taking a 35-3 lead into the 4th. We win 49-17 as our WR Humphreys finished off a stellar senior year. Sophomore QB Luke Colvin also had a surprisingly good game. Can he keep it up next year without his best WR?

Outer Banks managed to dominate #3 Texas A&M. It was never really a game. I'm a little surprised, I thought they would bring it.
Looks like we are ready to advance. |

I lean towards yes, but also not strongly.
Edit: Waiting until the voting is all done and a decision is made to get on the game.

I'm fine with accepting them. Not sure how often it will happen. It is a way to get some higher rated players, so consider that impact.

Thats ok, we get (back from his redshirt year) that senior WR that everyone else had last year. I hope that helps us this season. That and what is looking like a solid recruiting class.

FWIW, neither of my transfers are very highly rated.
What do I do to accept them? Just leave the "admit" button clicked with a check mark? |

My recruiting is done. Crazy that I only had one scholarship left to fill. I guess I have a way with these 2 star guys.
