Of course, if the depth chart change triggers an uploading error for either of us, I recommend we re-schedule. I'm getting the loading error trying to do recruiting in the new dynasty now...

Absolutely.

We should probably figure out a rule for completed games between humans that fail to upload. I think whoever won the first game should be able to play against the computer. What do others think? It would suck to win a game, but then have to replay due to an upload error and then lose the second game.

Thanks, EF. It uploaded for me as well. We won the turnover battle 3-0, and that was kinda the story of the game. Especially that interception in the first half where you were marching pretty good. Might have been a different game without that.

Glad that Gray was in beast mode, even if he coughed it up a couple times in the 4th. Luckily our linemen were able to jump on the loose balls.

Was that a lateral that you lost on the play right before the half? All of the sudden, the ball went flying and next thing I knew, I had it.

Knocking out your RB probably helped our cause too.

Anyhow, happy to get my first Big Ten crown. Unless the polls go screwy, that should put us in the BCS championship.

Yeah, that interception towards the end of the half was huge. Potentially a 14 point swing right there and who knows how it plays out if that didn't happen. But, I have no one to blame but myself. As soon as I threw it, I was thinking, "oh crap, that was a bad decision."

Yes, the turnover at the end of the half was my homage to Reggie and the stupid lateral against Texas... I didn't realize there were 2 seconds left when I did it though. Oops.

Yeah, Wilkinson is a beast and I would have run him a lot more in the 2nd half if he didn't get hurt, but I was happy to get Stewart some action.

Your run game is vicious. Good job again. Good luck in the National Championship. It will be a crime if you aren't there.

My kids have practices this evening, so I can't start early on Thursdays. My weekends are family time, so we may have to push off our game until Monday after 9:30 PM, if that works for you.

So I started my Conf champ game against FSU.
Won the toss took the ball. Returner kneeled immediately even though I was trying to bring him our of the endzone. Oh well.

Well right as it started my neighbor knocked on the door so I paused the game. WTF, at the top under the resume section I have a UCF and a Knights logo. strange.

Chased the neighbor off and went to resume game (play 1 after the touchback/ non kick return) I have no control. I cant call plays. Nothing. SO I exit the game.

Start a new one and all is well. Beat FSU. easy-ish-ily

Crosses fingers.
Crosses feet.
Realizes 2 crosses cancel each other out.
Uncross feet.
Pray to the EA gods.
Hit exit and...SUCCESS. First game file Ive uploaded in a month.

Flying out tomorrow to Wisconsin for a week. Be back late Thursday.

I know you are. But my weekend coming up is booked solidly and it just isn't worth it to me to ask everyone to cool their jets until we can get a time that works out for everyone. I do enjoy playing the game, but it doesn't rank very high on the relative order of importance for me to shift real life around to fit in a game. I am perfectly happy to let Julio go to town on my side and pick up whatever pieces are left over during the bowl season.

It would be unfortunate to do this, but if we really can't hook up reasonably, then I guess I can play it in a couple days. I'll wait til Wednesday to see if anything changes, and I guess if there are no new developments by then I will go ahead and give Duke a dignified CPU beatdown..

What makes this hard is that I hate Duke with a passionate rage of unfathomable depth and unimaginable breadth, like some massive super heated celestial body heretofore unknown to man. I prefer to have trouble beating them or to even lose and throw a few more proverbial logs on the hatefire.

I'll keep my fingers crossed for the next couple, but if nothing develops I guess it will be woodshed time.

Nothing that I know about. We should both try to reset our depth chart with some minor change before the game. If that uploads ok, we should be good to go. If that fails to upload, we should reschedule our game for another night as that is a sign that the upload after the game is probably going to fail too.
